Hey all,

we submitted our notice of readiness two days ago after compeleting the medical and the ds160. Does anyone know the average time it takes to hear back from the embassy?

Hi there. My case been ready on 1/16. Still haven’t got the p3 package to get the police certificate and body check.

Any my ideas on when will I get the p3? Thank you

Spend some time at the HK US Embassy website and read up on what the requirements are and what is next. Here is the link: https://hk.usconsulate.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee/the-interview/ and

http://www.ustraveldocs.com/hk/K1 Visa Instructions 15Mar2018.pdf

Spend sometime in the sub forums for China/HK found here. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/94-china/  There are many experts that can help you along. Most here in this forum are trying to get their arms around their own process and have very little knowledge for HK.

BTW, vaccinations are included in the medical fee for SLEC/USEM and it doesn't matter if you need zero or 5 they are all included. Since you went "outside" SLEC be sure she showed the receipts and that it was transposed to the DS-3025 or you have a big mess to clear up for AOS processing once married and it may not be cheap. Just saying.

Thanks Greenbaum! Yes she is OFW, in a whole different part of the world. 😉  In Kuwait there are 2 private providing physicians available and recognized by USEmb-kw... vaccines are free from the hospital vaccination centers, the physician fills out the Ds3025 upon return from getting stamped n stuck.  I think they said it 2 or 3 times dont lose or turn in the ds3025.

Well what is confusing to me is that your "flag" is the Philippines hence my reply centered on SLEC/USEM. If she is interviewing in KW you should update your profile to reflect the embassy you are interviewing with. Otherwise you will get noninformative statements such as mine.

I'm almost sure it's the NVC number.

Speaking of this section, there's a part where I'm supposed to list the countries I've visited in the past 5 years, but they only allow to enter 20. I've visited over 50 in the last five years, should I attach a paper or something with this information?

Thanks! Your question is a good one, I travelled but not that much. If I where you I would add the other 30 countries, it's always better to add more info than have something missing. So stressing, don't wanna make any mistake

Hi All,

I have a quick question

For the I-134 Affidavit of support paperwork- Does my fiance in Nigeria take that with him to the interview or do I have to mail it to the Nigerian Emabassy?

Our Embassy is in Ukraine and there they have to take I-134 Affidavit of support with them and give it to them in person. Most likely they require the same in Nigeria

The I-134 is taken to the interview by the beneficiary. Wet signatures are no longer required for I-134 for your Nigeria interview. You are able to send scanned signed documents to your beneficiary for them to print.

I sure wish that you would complete your profile. Our answers depend on it.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

The receipt number is either your WAC# or your Case number that was given to you from NVC.
