We used USPS priority and paid more than $60 for shipping fee.

We paid 27 for USPS next day.

Agreed. There is no logic whatsoever. At this point I am fine waiting for the actual green card, but at least send people's extension letters so we can focus on our work and lives.

Like I said, the i551 form as a stamp will work perfect for legal status, school, work, travel.

For the wait, we are thinking to apply for naturalization when the window open in July 2019. It's going to be a perfect time to apply for naturalization as we'll be close to the presidential elections in 2020.

They usually accelerate the naturalization process to have many voters. So that could be a great opportunity to get approved for a combo (i751 and N400).

Just being curious here.  Since many I-751 filers probably have lots of supporting documents (resulting in a rather thick file), did you send it using a medium size box or envelope?

Yes our files were really thick, so we used a big envelope that would fit all the papers and then we taped both sides so it wouldn't rip. Once we got to UPS they then put it in another more secure envelope and then seal it and mail it off.

Crossing my fingers our case gets routed to Vermont Service Center. I heard there abit more quicker than all the other service centers with I-751.

hi

my lawyer have sent my documents to Dallas, Texas on Nov 16. have not heard anything yet. I am getting worried. its been two weeks.

How can we make a database for November filers? so we can have a better estimation and timing processes for our i751.

You could save money on the lawyer and do this application yourself. It's the easiest application among other immigration applications. Unless if you have the worst case scenario ever...

Did your lawyer add the text notification form to receive a text from uscis? Did they cash your checks or your card? If yes, your application was accepted!  Otherwise, your application is returned to you for missing information or something else. You should check with your lawyer.

Wait we can make Infopass appt for I551 stamp while waiting for NOA? I need to renew my drivers license and work freelance so could affect prospective jobs while waiting.

You don't have to fill out the e-notification form unless you want to.

You're suppose to ship it to the lockbox facility tho.

Yes definitely you can. If passport expired,  get it in a i94.
