Update: Got receipt of application on 11/08/18. Received Biometrics notice on 12/03/18, but no NOA1 paper?? Any chance it is lost?

I need to travel in a few weeks, what are my options here? My Biometrics appointment is in 8 days, should I be getting a stamp in my passport then, or do I need the infopass appointment which is at another USCIS location? Thanks.

Same situation here with EAC, I've managed to get an infopass appointment the same day as my biometric appointment, so hoping they will stamp my passport then.

Is your infopass appointment place the same place as your Biometrics place? Mine is a 30min drive apart from each other, very strange! Good luck, hope to hear some good news from you!

Yeah, mine is the same, luckily only 15 mins from where I live!

It's not till a week Friday, but will update when I get back! Maybe will get really lucky and see the NOA before then.

Hi Nov. filers,

Herein my timeline:

Filed                    11/13/2018

Received:            11/15/2018

Check cashed:   11/20/2018

Case Number starts with LIN (Nebraska Center).

To date, I did not hear back or received NOA. My status says case is received an a receipt notice was sent. I can see from all your comments so far no one received it, so I gotta wait for it then. My questions is, does anybody here know about the status updates on the online account? will it change later from case received to, for example, Biometric appointment? or Interview?  Do we know a list of potential statuses?

Thanks all,

Hey guys! I have a question. I don’t know if I’m writing in a right topic but we’ve applied for  I751 - got it back because we’ve sent it two days earlier than 90 days!!Anyways we’ve applied again and everything was fine. I’ve received that my fingerprints fee was received- wait for a letter via mail with further instructions. And still don’t have it. It’s been 3 weeks already. How long does it usual take to get it? Also my next question. Do they sent you a notice with which you can fly overseas while you are waiting for your next green card? Has anyone traveled while waiting? I really want to visit home this spring and have doubts that I’ll get my green card by that time

Did they send it back because you mailed it 2 days too early or because the filing date on I-751 form was 2 days too early.

If you do not have the extension letter by 30 days before your trip back home than make an infopass appointment to get your passport stamped.

I was sending it to Texas. But the notification says Nebraska service center is working on your case

Yes, if your Receipt Number starts with LIN it's Lincoln, Nebraska.

I am there too. I filed October 29, still nothing.

LIN is way behind. we are looking at 5-6 weeks at the moment.

We just moved next door of the duplex we live in.

Do you think it is better to wait for the paper NOA before notify USCIS of our move?

Or should I do it right away?
