My case is ready for interview but can’t seem to get anything from the embassy or NVC. Can’t schedule my interview either, iv been told the payment should be made at the embassy.

Hey, each embassy is different but I was told that I will also have to pay at the embassy. And that now when embassy received my case (ready since yesterday woohoo), I will have to wait to get P3 from them via postal service.

No they sent us another email, which is the digital version of the physical one they send.

From the Serbia Embassy's website: Interviews are by appointment only! You will receive an appointment when you have submitted your notice of readiness confirming that you have all the required paperwork in your possession. Embassy Belgrade will notify you of your interview date and time and paying the MRV application fee by an appointment letter.

NOA2 has the bar code as well as the NVC letter with the case number.

They have one day free in december 21 but ok that's next week and I still need to gather a bunch of documents and it didn't feel right to rush things. My fiance comes in January so we'll survive lol (but I did feel tempted to take it!)

Keep watching the interview schedule website as cancellations happen frequently and you can cancel yours and then grab the new one.

NVC received our application on 3 Dec. and we get the case number today (but we didn't ask when the case number was assigned). Yeah!!

Now the status on CEAC is At NVC. Does anyone know how long it takes to the next step "in transit" or "at embassy"?

Hi! We already knew it could take that long and we don't have documents ready because it was better to have recent information so the plan was to set everything in January/ February. I already have some things but I'm missing police certificate, and the affidavit support documents. Next week sounded tempting but I have to travel to a different city, set hotel, have pocket moneym get the police certificate, ask for days off at the office, I mean... no way lol.

 

I recommend you to research about your consulate, maybe they have closer dates and that will give you an idea of when to gather the documents.

Yes we'll do that for sure but I will only reschedule for february, he's coming in January and I want to add that evidence to our packet. It would be his 7 time in here and we are planning to get some things for the wedding too, I want to add those receipts (wedding rings, my engagement rings and maybe my dress).

They just sent files to consulates this week, I think the next batch will be leaving around christmas...

The normal is on Tuesday but since the next shipping Tuesday is a holiday,  its anyone's guess
