Finally got my NOA1 in the mail yesterday, 10/25. It has a date of 10/18 on it so we're finally official. I wonder why it took so long to get from California to New York.  I guess I'll have 6 months to ponder.

Hi Everyone,

Making my first post after reading the boards for a while and absorbing the great information here in the application process. We finally filed this month:

Mailed: October 18

Delivered to Dallas: October 22

Check cashed: October 25

No electronic or paper NOA1 just yet...

Good luck to everyone on this journey.

Update: NOA1 text message received!

Same exact time line...except cc instead of check... wishing I had that NOA1 too. OH WELL. It’s the NOA2 I’m hoping for. 😋

You could be next in line, there have been people getting texts at midday right through to midnight. It's an iffy system - I've heard cases of people not being notified at all until the NOA1 arrived in the mail.

For me, it took 4 working days to get a text, then a further 4 working days to get the NOA1 by mail.

Hi, everyone! My fiancé and I filed at the start of the month, but I didn’t realise there was a specific thread for us October filers until now!

Filed: 10/03/18

NOA1: 10/10/18

Very excited to be on this journey with all of you! Just to be sure, the NOA1 date is the “notice date”, right? Not the receipt date? That’s what we have been going by.
