Did you call uscis to ask about your approval? Even hardcopy you didn’t receive any? I’m worried they will send back your paper to uscis for approval.. hopefully that won’t happen..

Hopefully not. The letter from NVC says they received my approved I129F. I’ll call them again tomorrow. I read something like this happens rarely.

Yes. It’s already “in transit” to the embassy and I’ve been waiting for NOA2 all this time. Website doesn’t say approved and tie 1 didn’t even tell me anything about approval.

How about tier 2?

NOA2 date 9/21...NVC says they still don’t have our case...should I start freaking out yet? After the NOA2 nightmare, I’m really hoping we’re not getting screwed again!

I can't remember for the life of me who posted the info but they seemed very sure of it... September 18th and October 2nd were the "batch" dates for petitions being sent to NVC. You would have been sent on Oct 2nd so just 14 days ago. It took me almost three weeks to get a case number. I bet you anything Friday you will have yours!!!! (okay, or Monday :) )

Yeah.. i have read that rare case same as you.. but i guess you can still continue processing it. Uscis must be forgotten to send you your approval due to heavy backlogs...

Does anyone know if NVC will send another batch tomorrow 17 October 2018?

There is nothing in writing to these new procedures. All we have to go on is 3 months of history. We see both Tues and Wed transits. So quite possibly yes it may happen. Your mileage may vary.

Hi everyone! i am so excited to finally be here :) We have received  our NOA2 - dated October 1st, and we are now waiting for a NVC case number.
Do you think we should go ahead and fill the DS-160 form just to save some time?

From what i ve read, the NVC number is not needed to fill out the form. Do you think its a good idea or will it mess things up in the embassy?

Yeah you can start filling up now your ds160 online. That won’t be a problem. You can just save it for a while then later confirm it.

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1
