Comments : Went for my interview at 9:00 a.m. I went up to the outside window and gave my passport and interview letter. The security then told me to go inside. I went inside and passed through a security check like that of an airport. I was checked and then went through the garden and into the actual area where interviews are done.
I waited some minutes for the person in front of me to get done with the officer. After she got done the officer said "next" and I went up.

She asked me for the below in this order:
1. Interview letter
2. Passport and 2 passport sized pictures
3. Confirmation page of the DS160
4. Form DS 230 part 1
5. Original Birth certificate and a certified copy
6. Form DS 156K
7. Police Record (make sure you sign it where it says "signature of applicant")
7. Affidavit support ( Form 1-134) and supporting docs which were W2 form and previous year tax return. I asked her if she wanted the job letter, check stub copies and bank statements but she said they didn't need them)
8. Sealed Medical record
9. Evidence of relationship ( they will not return you any pictures you give them or evidence, they keep it for the file)
10. She scans all my fingers (right and left) ....note this #10 was actually the very first thing they did.

Then she told me to go to the cashier beside the window and pay the $530.00 BZD

I make payment and the cashier lady gives the reciept to the officer attending to me. She then tells me to have a seat and wait for my name to be called at the other window.

Wait for 3-5 min.

An American man calls me and first scans my left fingers again. Then he looks at my files and looks at the computer Infront of him and types and I wait. He asks how am I doing and I tell him I'm doing good :)

He then asks the below questions but pauses to look at his computer while he asks:

What is your fiancé's name
What does he do for a living
Where are you both going to be living
Where did you both meet
For how long have you known each other
When was the last time you visited him in the USA

Then he says "all looks good, congratulations!!! Your visa is approved and once we have done a background check, you can pick up your visa with passport next week Tuesday.

I said thank you and I left smiling.

Please note that in Belize, you don't choose your interview date, they choose it for you and it cannot be changed to earlier but only later once another space is available.

Once your package reaches Belize, expect a wait of some 2 weeks (in the case the only lady incharge is on holiday)
They email you all the details and forms and you fill and compile them all together and take them with you to interview. You get both packet 3 and 4 same time.
Medical takes about 2 weeks since testing is done in the USA. You pay around $400 BZD for it all.
Overall it was good. They don't smile much but they were nice to me.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
