Case is Ready. @Scott Br What is the letter that we need to wait from NVC that we need to bring on the interview? Will I (beneficiary) be receiving this via mail from US(PH) Embassy? Or email only from fiancè? Any idea @Greenbaum? Thanks

You need the email or snail mail with the case number. Did you email NVC and register both email addresses? I posted instructions all over the place on how to do this.

Did you get the email notification regarding the case being transferred to the embassy?  If not, call NVC to see if they can send it to you.  Packet 3 will be mailed to the beneficiary, but at this time they haven't required that you have it in hand in order to schedule the interview.  Medical was just completed today for my fiance and her kids (little scare on her daughter whose blood test came back positive for TB exposure, but further X-ray determined she does not have it).  You can go ahead and schedule interview and conduct medical now that it's showing Ready.  Ours is currently scheduled for next Thursday.

USEM does not mail anything to the beneficiary as the postal system in the Philippines is unreliable. Everything will be emailed. Those who will be interviewing in the Philippines please read through this thread which talks about a new procedure for USEM.

Checked status at NVC today and we are “Ready”. Very excited to be so close to the finish line. Just 2 days ago we were “in transit”. Hoping for a November appointment since Moscow is so booked. Best wishes to all that are still waiting!

So today I checked my casetracker and what does it mean when the 'case last updated' has changed from date?

First the date was somewhere end of September and now it has changed in October 5th.

Does it have something to do with the interview that I will be having next week?

Any notice like that is an indication that someone has "touched" your case. My guess is that the CO is reviewing your case for your upcoming interview. Nothing to see here, just move on. :D
