Great news :)

We got our interview date today for May 21. We live in Queens and our NOA1 is December 19.

Queens people keep an eye out that office is moving fast.

No word on the EAD and AP

Hey all, we just received the combo card in the mail today. We checked the box on the I765 requesting a social security card.  How can we tell if its been processed.  We tried calling the SSA but they couldn't tell us anything without a social security number lol

I feel terrible because we already got our interview date last February when our case was still in Queens but we literally just moved to Brooklyn and had to update our new address and they canceled our interview I guess because they moved my case to Brooklyn as well and now I'm back to waiting in limbo 🙃

Anyone else in Brooklyn still waiting?!

AOS Timeline: Camie (Beneficiary)

Dec 08, 2017:               Married!
June 23, 2018:             Filed AOS (we waited until our savings reached above poverty guideline since we both moved here from the PH with basically nothing)

Aug 20, 2018:              Biometrics (I asked to reschedule but USCIS never sent a new date, so I did walk-in.)
Nov 5, 2018:                Received RFE for I-864 joint sponsor

Interview scheduled for 5/21 at Federal Plaza! Now thankful that I had the foresight to schedule my medical for this month instead of waiting!

Hi everyone, still waiting on a possible interview date with no luck of course. Just a quick question does anyone know if my hubby has to get another medical done for the adjustment of status. He had one done when we applied for the visa? Please help. Thanks in advance

I believe the Medical is good for one year. If you have the interview more than a year after the medical was done then you need a new one.

You can actually go to your local social security office and check on it if you don’t get it in a week or two. Btw congrats

How can you find out which local office you'll be going through? We just moved from Manhattan to Union City, NJ...officially changed our address and got the confirmation letter. However, it said nothing about switching the local office to Newark (I'm guessing?) Technically we still live closer to the Manhattan office, so I'm not sure how that all works and would love to check somehow. Any ideas?
