Just saw that my I-765 status updated to "New Card Is Being Produced" -- no change to my I-131 status, but I hope that a combo card is coming! I wasn't expecting to get by EAD/AP until early May, so I'm pretty shocked to see this update! I'm a Queens filer and my priority date is 12/03/2018, so if I do get a combo card in the next few days, that would be just under 4 months.

I've been very heartened by all the news from Queens filers in this thread, so fingers crossed that more good news is on the way!

Can anyone recommend a (preferably inexpensive) place to get the medical exam done?

Andrew A. Kaminski MD

1002 Manhattan Ave

Brooklyn,NY 11222 (Close G train)

Civil surgeon fee (payable with cash, money order, or personal check only):  $196 (ages 15 and up) $50 (children 1-14 years old)

Medical exam fee includes:  - completion of I-693 form,  - USCIS required blood test: (RPR) for Syphilis, urine test for gonorrhea and (PPD) tuberculosis skin test for TB*.

A tuberculosis skin test requires you to return 2-3 days later to have your arm examined by us. If your skin test is abnormal, you will require a current chest x-ray before receiving your documents.

NOTE: Any required vaccinations administered by our office are at additional cost.

Applicants born after 1956 must be immune to: MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Chickenpox, and Flu (in season: October 1st to March 31st). Everyone must have Tdap vaccine administered once every 10 years.

I'm pretty sure this has been asked, but I can't seem to find the answer (sorry!). Hubby and I filed May 2018 in Manhattan but are thinking about moving to Queens. Will we go to the back of the line if we do an address change to a different borough?

My card is in the mail, and should be delivered by Saturday! The great irony is the trip that I tried to expedite my AP for would have begun on Saturday...ah, cruel world! Very glad that my process went quickly, annoyed that it cut so close to the trip I thought was totally out of reach.

For those curious, it'll be a total of 8 days from the "New Card is Being Produced" update to having the card in hand, and 117 days from the day my package arrived at the Lockbox to EAD in hand. My EAD status updated to "Card Has Been Mailed to Me" and "Card Has Been Picked Up By the United States Postal Service" in the interim, and hard copy approval letters for EAD and AP were in the mail today, dated 3/22.

Don’t know. We are in Manhattan and applied end of June 2018. Husband got ead/ap card end of Oct.  We’ve not heard anything except for those generic emails saying nothing has changed.  We’re going away for three weeks soon for our honeymoon and worried we’ll get interview then. Does anyone know how long ahead they schedule the interview from the letter being sent?  Going to have someone check our mail but we will mostly be unreachable.

Sorry one other question.  When he applies for the EAD/AP renewal, can he travel on the current one he has until he receives the new one? I’ve read different things and he travels out of the country for work so want to check.

Thank you!
