So I checked my online banking this morning and it looks like my checks have been cashed, no text or email notification yet, though...

Strictly speaking, your checks were not 'cashed' they were deposited to the Treasury Department.

In my case, I got a notice of action from Nebraska very shortly after my petition was delivered to Chicago. Then NOTHING happened for a bit over six months! In particular, my 'receipt number' was NOT added to their tracking system until AFTER the second notice arrived in Taiwan. The letter took 12 days to get to me (normal delivery time) and it beat them adding my case to their--clearly useless--system.

Suddenly, I got a second notice of action that my petition had been approved and forwarded to New Hampshire. I was advised that I would hear from New Hampshire within 30 days, but I heard NOTHING for about 45 days. Then I was referred to their online case management system (because my wife will be interviewed in a consular office.)

Sad to say, the online case management system crashed and has been down for a week already with no end in sight.

Fur real?

I seems like everybody has their NOA1 within two weeks. But yours is so extreme.

Timing is a little tough for me, I need to plan ahead for the Fall semester and it's only 3 weeks apart. :(

I did get the NOA-1 withing a couple of weeks, but the NOA-2 took over six months. Meanwhile, their (Nebraska) online status information system predicted nine to ten and a half months.

Another very wrong piece of information!

I don't use any app but if you open an account in "myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov" and add your case information along with your phone number, they will send you text messages anytime there is an update to your case. This is different from the "egov.uscis.gov" case status check and also more efficient.

Hey Ahsan & everyone,

Update: My online status has been updated:)

Online Status Changed: July 30th - Completed review of my fingerprints.

Please approve my AP by next month.

Applied: July 5th - (AOS, EAD & AP)

Received: July 8th - (Chicago Lockbox)

Payment Processed: July 12th

E-notice: July 13th

NOA 1 to 3 & Biometric NOA: July 20th

Biometric Completed: July 25th

Online Status Changed: July 30th - Completed review of my fingerprints.

Hi,

I would like to hear from July AOS filers. I filed from Baltimore, sent to the Chicago lockbox on July 19th and according to the tracker received on July 23rd and signed by J ROBINSON. Filing AOS from F-1. Haven’t received any e-notifications yet and checks have not been cashed. How’s everyone progress?

Hi everyone,

Just an update that my checks have been cashed. It shows as a pending charge in my bank. Not sure about the receipt notices since the email/text notifs go to my lawyer and I am currently on vacation right now so I can’t check my mail, but I will post my updates here.

Good luck everyone!

Hey everyone! We had a successful walk-in for biometrics today in Alexandria, VA.  Priority Date July 9, 2018 and our appointment is tomorrow for biometrics, but we won't have transportation.  I am planning on trying to expedite his EAD next week because he needs to be working.  Anyone else thinking of doing that?

Received my NOAs in the mail! (So it's 2 weeks since I applied if anyone was wondering)

My question: are they supposed to send biometric appointment invitation separately?

Hey @Oceaninspired  i was wondering, was your payment taken before you received your first NOA? My payment was received but I didn't receive a NOA yet! Also, did your recieve both at the same time? (NOA 1 and NOA2)
