We just filed my husband's N-400 online. You have the ability to upload documents directly to your application so have your piles of everything you think you may need ready. Beyond the obvious (marriage certificate, copy of my passport, etc) there is space to upload joint bank account statements, mortgages, photos together, and all your other supportive documentation. They do ask for a 5 year address history (even if you are filing under the 3 year rule) and a 5 year employment history with addresses and dates and the system requires you to make a complete timeline so have exact dates. It also wants exact dates you have been out of the US since you have lived in the US only (so this would be the three year rule if you are applying because you married a US citizen). All in all, the document gathering was tedious but the system worked amazingly well. It auto saves your responses and uploads and lets you go through and re-check everything before submitting. There is a 6MB max on each upload but we found the system struggled with more than 4.5MB. good luck everyone! Still waiting on our lifting conditions...We are EAC17284XXXXX Vermont filers.

Hi pherNfer!

I am about to start my N-400 and wanted to ask: when you were uploading multi-page documents, like tax returns, bank statements, etc, did you scan, save and upload those all-pages-combined-together-in-one-pdf for each document? Or did you upload page by page each of them? I don't know why, but I am dreading all this...My window had opened back in November, but I am just now getting around to start. (Well, we had our first baby in April, so I guess it is a good excuse :)) Would very much appreciate any input!

Hello everyone. It's been over a month since my application was received. I haven't received my biometrics appointment notice by mail yet and I can't find a copy online. I already submitted a service request but not sure if this is enough or not. Any advice on the matter would be appreciated.

That’s weird. What does your online status say?

Their website seems down i couldnt get a snapshot but when i checked last night it was "biometrics appointment was scheduled." If I don't receive the notice by 9/10 submit a service request with the link to the page which what I did last night.

Did you see it in your profile or in the general tracker?

Congratulations on your baby! I uploaded them all combined for things like "Amex Statements", but I uploaded (for example) "Amex Statements" and "Car Insurance" as 2 different documents. Hope this helps and good luck!

Have you been to the https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov website? You can access documents that were sent to you.

Yes and it seems that there was a technical problem because my case never got updated online until I called them. They fixed the problem and rescheduled a new appointment on sep 24 for me because my appointment was August 30 and I missed it. My case is now updated and I finally have a notice.

Thanks for your concern. I guess I should have called USCIS a long time ago at least to get them update my online account but I've been dealing with a lot those past few months. Anyway it's all ok. Thanks for asking again.

Got my interview scheduled notice by text! I checked the documents tab online a day later and it is scheduled for 10/29. I see a bunch of people in the June 2018 N400 filing group have already finished their oath ceremonies, so all of us in July are not far behind...

Hello All,

I have been following the thread for a couple of months with this being my first time posting. I applied for my N-400 online in early July. I just received an update that my interview has been scheduled for the first week of November. Hang in there. Your interview notice is just around the corner. It was exactly two months from Biometrics to receipt of my Interview Notice.

I'm not holding my breath, I don't see many updates from people in Tennessee, it's either there's not much progress for anywhere here or people in Tennessee get bored of tracking their progress pretty fast and never return to inform anyone. I hope it's the latter but I'm pretty sure it's the former.

The interview date is depending heavily and exclusively on the office who process the interviews. I am seeing offices that process this super fast (less than a year of waiting), other offices takes more than one year. Good luck for all of us
