I would add it at the end.

 

just FYI if you file online you can add as many employments as you want. Plus is faster and easier

I also have a quick question, I am paying $725 via check.

My question is : Do We have to write the A-Number on the check ?

 If Yes then where in the check : Front OR Back ?

Hello! 

 

I applied online July 16th based on marriage. 

My biometrics appointment is on August 8th and the letter states I should take my green card with me. Just before I submitted application, I had an INFOPASS appointment and got the I-551 stamp on my passport and the card itself was taken. 

 

Anyone on the same situation? I’m hoping I can just show my passport with the stamp, but I’m not sure.

It's incredibly naive of you to think they will only target a subset of people of which you aren't included. Tell me, how will they identify these fraudulent past applications? Will they review them for false information? If so, why were they approved in the first place if the false information is easily identified?

 

There are already laws against filling fraudulent applications, and USCIS has always weeded fraud. Look at the statistics that they publish.

 

This is an attempt to stifle legal immigration, no different than the effort to abolish the DV lottery or reduce the amount of employment based visas issued every year.

We're in a same boat, I live in Houston as well. My case shows processing time of 23 months, but I don't believe their estimates.

I had the same situation and had my biometric appointment today. They asked for my green card, but I told them the situation and they just checked the stamp in my passport and everything was fine. Just make sure you take your passport with you.

Thats somewhat relieving to know! Not very comforting as its still a 20+ month estimate :-) but knowing that this is the case with Houston cases- I am not shocked looking at that timeline.

 

Also, I have my biometrics scheduled on 08/07 and I will be traveling out of state then- So I will be trying my luck with a walk-in at the Sugar-land Center starting tomorrow. Any recommendations on a successful Walk-In appointment? Is it good to go early or late?

 

Also- Do we need the original appointment letter that will come in the mail or is it okay to take the copy that I have available online for the walk-in?
