To be fair, Mike's been all over IG with his new girl for some time. I guess ... they're separated and clearly headed for divorce. I don't judge people who are dating while separated. I did it myself -- it took a while for my divorce to go through and during that time I realized I was in love with someone else. My ex made a big to-do about this and said that even though we were separated, we were still married and in his heart that meant he had to be faithful. Yeaahhhhhhhhh... that turned out to be a big fat lie!  I think Natalie is crazy, no doubt about it, but I also think that she truly did love Mike. She's just too crazy to be married. Mike needs to meet a nice Sequim girl who likes red meat, beer and space aliens. I hope he does. He's no saint, but he deserves to have something better.

This is the thing that makes me think there really was something there at one point. It has occurred to me that Natalie might be one of those people (I am one) who is unable to let go, even when a relationship is clearly a bad idea/over because she hates the idea of "losing." Like, oh, if I give up, I'm a bad person. Good people fight for love. I have learned that you can fight all you want to save a relationship but unless both people are bought in, there's no rescue. Personally I think Mike went along with her coming over despite the animosity between them, and then marrying her, because she scratches some itch he has, if you know what I mean. Foolish, but I get it.

see, all i saw was desperation and craziness on her end. He was all in ... until the ring incident. And I dont blame him. I never would have bought her a plane ticket. visa approval or not. He was a better man than I would have been. But he loved her. He wanted to try. He should have gone with his gut (and his moms gut) and never married her when he got cold feet. but again, he tried. God love him. The only time i thought he was a total jerk (and granted, we only see what the cameras want us to see) was  when he and his mom took her in the butchers shop at thanksgiving. really? total jerk move. id have walked out too if i were a vegetarian. he should have respected her beliefs enough to say 'hey, you probably want to wait in the car hun'.

I think Natalie thought she had the upper hand in that relationship until the ring incident but then realized there were limits to what Mike would put up with

Julia's dress was TRAGIC. I was dying watching Yara really overegg the pudding by saying over and over again how great Julia looked in it. Class A mean girl gaslighting but brilliantly executed. 10/10!

 

I'm going to fire up the second part this evening on the app over a glass or two of wine. Can. Not. Wait.

I only managed 1.5 glasses of wine, but that was the perfect number as it turns out. No spoilers but ... I have changed my tune on thinking everything about the Family Libby drama being scripted. That is a family going through some seriously bad stuff. Also, I love Jovi's mom -- she is just SO present for Yara, and not just because Yara is the mother of her granddaughter. Team Gwen Forever! ❤️

Yara vs Tammy in a cage fight - I would pay money to see that

While Angela looked like the Kool-Aid man in her red jumpsuit Kolini looked amazing in hers (note to the ladies, only a select few can pull off a jumpsuit in any color)

Was Jovi's punishment for blowing kisses at a stripper being forced to give Yara a foot rub on national television?

How does one of the 90 Day universe's most flawed males, Ronald, suddenly become a relationship expert when talking about other people?

Does Charlie not realize he probably peaked in high school? He is probably relieved that Only Fans reinstated porn though I can't imagine it was a good income stream - who wants to pay for that?

Kolini is hands down the most good looking "cast member" on this show in a while, and it's all natural. I would KILL to have that hair. I cannot pull off a jumpsuit -- I am not a tall person and they never sit correctly on my body. Ditto for rompers. I once accidentally bought a romper thinking it was a really cute summer dress, just pulled it off the rack and was like "I will have you, pretty" and took it home. Then when I tried to pull it over my head... legs? I did try it on but it was very, very wrong. My ex walked in during this moment, took one look, said: please, burn that. (I took it back.)

Ronald was actually pretty much spot on in his analysis of everyone else's dysfunction. And yet... this is the man who was threatening to keep the kids in South Africa, spent like $800 on Xmas decorations, says demeaning and misogynistic things to his wife... Ronald, heal thyself!!!!

He and his wife both suffer from "hot-in-high-school-itis." They just look pathetic now. However, they do manage to make Becky and Jenn look like paragons of sanity.

So I am holed up at my parents' house for the next couple of weeks while my husband is abroad. I have a devious plan to suck my dad into watching 90 Day The Other Way while I am here, and I got the Discovery+ app fired up last night to see the first episode of 90DFTOW Season 3, only to see that it had NOT dropped early. What? We have to wait until Sunday. 😭 I turned down a dinner invitation for this!
