Yeah you know, I notice a lotta cars don't come with spares now! WT-h man...

My neighbors Toyota van, no spare! He got a flat going to Niagara falls. No run-flat tires, either...

No triple A, no GEICO roadside, 600 bucks. 

I was dying when he was telling me this LMAO.

I carry an air pump in all my cars. But they do have spares. I'm just lazy...

That is a good idea.

 

The pick up truck spare is annoying to get at... you have to lower it from under the bed in the back.  

 

I have one, but maybe I should get one mounted on the back, like a bumper of sorts, for all the terrible drivers in the bigger town here.  They are mix of country drivers who aren't used to stoplights and people from other areas of the country/world who don't get snow and freezing rain stopping distances.  Just yesterday alone during the rain, several bad accidents.  😐  One at the intersection that we got rear-ended.

 

I had my CPR class last night.  I had taken it years ago at the same level, but I don't remember having to do so much bagging or any at all. It was kind of interesting having it taught by someone who does it often, apparently EMS works codes inside the hospital too here.

Although I became aware of no spare some months after buying my car, I looked at the "repair kit" they offered with it and thought... eff it, I'll risk going with that. On the way to La Colombiana's citizenship interview, we blew a front tire on the interstate. We pulled over easily to the shoulder but the repair kit was worthless. Luckily, a nearby coworker was able to get away from work for a short time and we weren't late for the interview.

 

Unlike your pal, the dealership had included free towing so we took advantage of that. We also have GEICO roadside so that was the backup plan. Anyway, I'm going to purchase a full sized rim and have a local shop put a tire on it, and then be done with it.

Pool is drained, cleaned and folded up. Now the rain can come I won't have to drain it again.

 

What I don't understand here is why the heck are pool supplies only restocked until mid July??? It doesn't get cold until Octoberish. Just because kids are back to school doesn't mean summer is over. 

I try to stock up on supplies but July was just too darn hot I always end up short and never make it to October. I want to swim in my pool in October gosh darn it!!! 

 

The littles aren't as used to the cold as the big kids. The big kids used to want it up the first week in April.

Raining here, and quite hard all day. The area is under a flash flood watch, but we are at the top of a hill, so not that worried.

The dog hates the wet, and it is a miserable chore to get her out the door. Poorly timed, her meds for the next ten days make her drink water likes it's going out of style. Water in, water out..except thunder.

The best thing is how much cooler it is!

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.
