I sent ours via fax last Friday and called Tuesday to confirm it had gotten to the caseworker.  The caseworker was off on Monday, but reached out to us today.

O ok cool. I’ll update if I hear anything from them. Thanks.

So Purdue's office finally got back to me:

Yes, they (USCIS) have started doing interviews again.  Sorry, but I cannot give you a timeframe because it depends on where you are in the queue.

I've noticed that we don't have a lot of ATL users on VJ, so maybe people are getting scheduled and rescheduled and we just won't know because they're not on a forum.

I just hate that there is no transparency with this process. Like, how many interviews will the office be conducting a day? How many of those are people who need to be rescheduled? How many people are in the queue? Are we really waiting on the next available interview date and if so, how far out would that be?

This whole process has me like :girlwerewolf2xn:

I have reached out to them as well, someone Named Charles replied with a very generic e-mail and said everything i already know. Unfortunately GA is lacking when it comes to Senators doing what they are suppose to do. but oh well it`s a Red state anyways so not surprised.

I just received an email from Charles from senator loefflers office.

“Thank you for your e-mail to Senator Loeffler regarding your immigration case. We will follow-up with USCIS-Atlanta and be in touch. I can be reached at XXX-XXX-XXXX with any questions.

Take Care,

Charles

Senator Kelly Loeffler”

We’ll see what happens next week.:clock: Have a good weekend everyone.

Exactly my sentiments. Like I said before who knows what is really going on and if they have started interviewing how’s the queue going? Because me and my wife were supposed to have had our interview on March 17th the day before the official 18th closure of uscis. Walked up to the office only to be told there weren’t doing interviews. Haven’t had any updates yet and they have been open for  what 2 months or so!

Yes :( And I think others on VJ have also noticed their time has gone up. Our estimated wait time is 4 months (one month increase), but estimated completion time is now February 2021 instead of October. Looks like hubby won't get to vote this year, but my absentee ballot just arrived so that's a positive I guess.

Hopefully, they just increased every filer's time to stop us from inquiring (like they did with processing times) but will finish our cases before the estimated completion date.

Did you put in a service request on the basis of I-751 or N-400 Application. My extension letter for I-751 is expiring in couple of days and I am haven't got any communication in regards to "what" after that. I tried calling in and they are saying no slots available for infopass appointment as well to get a stamp on your passport without any emergency reasons given. This is getting ridiculous with USCIS now.

Do let me know what you did for getting an extension letter for yourself if your 18 months expired on the I-751 application.

I did the E-request based on I-751. I haven't been able to get a stamp on my passport because they tell me there are no available appointments in Atlanta.

yup I have the same issue. been trying to get hold of them everyday since 3-4 days now and they are saying they do not have any appointments in ATL. And they mention like they update it everyday so I don't know when would be that day when they have one for people like us who needs stamp.

yeah sadly we might not be able to get an appointment anytime this month or next month because of furloughs to USCIS coming up at the end of August 30.... Sadly congress did not come together to agree on a stimulus bill.... at this point I'm sure furloughs will happen and it will affect 13,400 USCIS employees. We all need to lower our expectations once furloughs take place because it will stop/halt USCIS from processing cases, there will be much more longer delays or no action at all on any cases.
