ATL Field office Filers?

I have been going through n400 time line and the updates for most who filed in Atlanta seem like its either the users don't frequent this forum or have not received any updates yet..which is not very encouraging because most go back a year+  :(

So are there any ATL filers that are still waiting in line for interviews? had their interviews? oath ceremony? etc? please share your experience

Thanks a lot

Current posted processing times are 10.5-18 months. So a year+ is nothing is write home about. I will be filing May 23rd, so will update as I go along.

I had my interview on February 14th and I'm still waiting to be in line for an oath ceremony. I've opened two cases online on the wait time. They have 120 days so I'm just waiting until then, then I'll do an infopass. It's a frustrating experience.

Oh no that's terrible....i see your n400 journey has been since 2016.  I knew Atlanta was slow, but NOT this slow.

Thanks @Life_loveI did move from Memphis midway through the process so my case may just be isolated but not knowing when it will be resolved is a pain.

I know its premature since i filed in March 2018 and atlanta is very much backlogged but i sent a case inquiry email via my uscis inbox asking  to know if my biometrics review was done and when i'll be in line for interview. I made a note not to include key words like processing time or case status so i dont get the same ol generic message i've seen people get.  Anyways, this is what i got:

Quote

Dear {my name}

Thank you for your inquiry dated July 11, 2018.

Requesting information about your N-400, Application for Naturalization:

Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for interviews at their local Field Office. Interview appointments are scheduled as slots become available at the Field Office. Once you have been scheduled for an appointment, you will receive an Interview Appointment Notice to appear at a certain date and time at your local Field Office. You must take the Interview Appointment Notice and photo ID to your appointment. Please review the Interview Appointment Notice for any other requirements.

Once you have been scheduled, you may view and print a copy of your Interview Appointment Notice within your USCIS online filing system account. After you log in to your USCIS online filing system account, access the Home Tab to find the "Documents" field to view or print your official appointment notice from USCIS.

To determine current processing time within USCIS:

  • Visit https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/
  • Select N-400; Application for Naturalization from the Form dropdown
  • Select the Field Office processing the application from the Field Office dropdown
  • Click “Get Processing Time” link

If your receipt date is before the Case Inquiry Date, you can submit an “outside normal processing time” service request online.

In preparation for the Civics test portion of your interview, please visit: www.uscis.gov/citizenship/learners/study-test/study-materials-civics-test/uscis-naturalization-interview-and-test-video. You may also download the USCIS: Civics Test Study Tools app. The mobile app is available in the Apple app store and the Google Play app store.

Please note that extended absences outside of the United States may affect your ability to naturalize. USCIS policy requires that an applicant for naturalization must have resided continuously in the United States up to the time of naturalization. For more information on the Continuous Residence requirement, click here.

For general information about what to expect during the naturalization process, please visit our website at: my.uscis.gov/citizenship/what_to expect.

If you need more assistance with your USCIS online filing system account, please submit another inquiry to the USCIS Contact Center at my.uscis.gov/account/needhelp or log into your online account for specific case inquiries and contact us at my.uscis.gov/account/inbox.

If you move remember to update your address in the USCIS online filing system or contact the USCIS Contact Center at my.uscis.gov/account/needhelp or log into your online account for specific case inquiries and contact us at my.uscis.gov/account/inbox. You must also update your address using our online tool at uscis.gov/addresschange.

In the future, you can visit myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov to sign up for a USCIS online account where you can explore filing online, send us secure messages and get instant updates on the status of your case. You can see your account information and make inquiries any time and on any device.

We hope this information is helpful.

I know its another generic response, but im guessing this means biometrics review is complete and my case is now in line for interview. It doesn't really tell me much but it sorts of puts my mind at ease that im not stuck in review...and there is some sort of movement-ishhhhh. So if anyone's wondering i suppose you can also email them.

I think the are working on October cases right now. I applied in November - still don’t have interview invitation.

Looks like you may be getting an interview notification soon...On another forum, https://www.trackitt.com/usa-immigration-trackers/n400  an atlanta filer with a USCIS received date of 11/01/2017 had their interview last month...the NOA is unknown but the application was filed on the 28th of october and received on the 1st of November.
