My I-129F form was received on January 19. I got the letter that they received it. I went back to see my fiancee after i filed. Let's just say there's a high chance that she's pregnant it's not confirmed. My question is that if i call or write to update that she's now pregnant would it slow down the process? Would it put my case in the back of the waiting list?

Obviously a pregnancy would have no impact on the speed of the processing

Nor it is something that needs an update on the petition...

And a pregnancy does not give the case a better chance to be approved, it doesn't prove a bone fide relationship.

I asked and i was told that i would report as a change like you would do for an address.

told by who?

A pregnancy is not something that affects this petition. If a baby is born yes that will change the situation but even that is not something you will need to report till embassy stage. (because then ds-160 will ask if you have any children)

Now I am not wishing this to anyone;

however a pregnancy can even end, it is not something that would require nor would be written on any part of the form.

I actually called, i guess they didn't understand what i was trying to ask them. You have a good point.

There are a lot of pregnancies like this happened here.

when the baby is born, you will need to get baby's citizenship etc. so then your fiancee will need to put the baby as she needs to write down if she has kids.

And then it will be obvious that you guys now have a kid.

just don't forget you also need to prepare for the baby's papers for the passport.

Congrats and Good luck!

Yes they do, she just hasn't take one yet

The embassy or uscis doesn’t care that she is potentially pregnant they only care if she does have a child and only in so much as that the child could potentially have US citizenship depending on how long you have resided in the US and at what age, at least 5 years with 2 being after the age of 14. They might also require a dna test to prove it is the child of an American.

Note that she will still need to complete the medical test for the k1 visa and do the chest X-ray, there is no exemption for pregnancy but they do take precautions to protect the baby she just needs to tell the technicians taking the X-ray .

This is all a moot point if it is unknown if she is indeed pregnant, if pregnant she should be taking folic acid and might need to check in with her equivalent of an Obgyn depending on her existing health so please encourage her to do a test so that you know.
