💀Looks like it's a lose lose situation haha.

My field office is Denver. Colorado is VERY slow, you will be jealous of others who are dealing with faster locations. I am so anxious! A friend of mine filed 3 years ago, and it tool him a whole year to be approved. The processing time is getting longer and longer each year, so I am expecting mine to take... 1.5 years or so? Hopefully not that long though. *sigh*

Positive side is that Colorado is really very so pretty and there are tons of outdoor attractions to enjoy while waiting;)

I'm just enthusiastic to start a career and earn some money again, all this waiting around is a little painful! The EAD shouldn't expire before the Green Card is issued though?

For some people, your EAD will expire before your green card.
U just have to make sure you get in your application for renewal- at least it is free with your AOS NOA1

I believe so. If it is going to expire before your GC is approved, you can also renew your EAD. (Someone corrects me if I'm wrong.)

I have an expired H1B, which is being extended by the employer. So I am working. I understand the frustration of not being able to work on your career... It would be stressful to be stuck at home:(

My EAD was approved just yesterday. Hopefully yours come soon too.

Just renew it way before your EAD expires (I think you can renew 180 days before it expires), so you can renew your driver's license and I-9 without headaches.

Hi Guys,

For those who have expedited (Most people on this thread? Haha - I don’t blame you)

How long did it take for your case to get assigned to an officer for response?

I’m just trying to figure out timing estimations etc.

Sucks that it takes so long to be able to go home when wanted/needed! Wish I done CR1 now! Oh well!

Anyway, my case currently states -

“ As of August 21, 2018, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1E*********MSC, is currently not assigned for processing. “

I got the usual “nothing has changed “ about the AOS, no news on the card though.

I thought it took about a week (unconfirmed) so was thinking this Friday or early next week.

Hello Everyone,

I'm fairly new to this thread, I'm also waiting for my EAD card/AP. I had my biometrics done May 4th, 2018 after that I haven't heard anything at all, no letters, no emails, no updates. is that normal?  I check my case status on the USCIS Website almost everyday and still says "Fingerprint Fee was received".. Not even an update after my biometrics were done. I noticed how many of you have Expedited your case. How can I do that? I check the processing times and I'm still within their "normal processing time".  I'm in Florida, National Benefit Center is Oakland Park.

THanks in advance for any info.
