They said that my case wasn't showing up as active yet. She repeated to me what I know already about the priority date and USCIS processing times, and waiting to be out of normal processing to submit an inquiry. I'm unsure about the Tier she was, but I am glad to have this forum to learn about how to go about things differently. I was discouraged, but I am excited to be going to visit my husband tomorrow so my spirits are rising. I hope that when I return things have changed with our case. It's just going to be so hard to leave him again. It's so hard to know what or how we will be notified about this. Still praying... March filers keep your spirits up.

Ohh wao. I have never heard  about a case like this in my sorroundings. Im so sorry this la happening to you.  but at least if you spoke with them and they told you to wait úntil it gets out of normal processing time then i guess youll need to wait a bit more. Dont get sad, everything has a solution in life. Maybe they are investigating a lil more b4 making a desition or something el se. I suggest you to wait about  10 more days and call them ask to speak to a tier2 officer right away.  Dont lose hope! We are here to support!

When you call the customer service number the first person you'll speak to will essentially just repeat whatever information you already have/know such as processing times for your service center, your current status that you can easily find in your online account, if you need help setting up an online account etc etc. Once they finish saying all that just politely tell him/her you have all that information already but you need a little bit detail than that so if it's possible to be transferred to a tier 2 associate. The person you are speaking might become a little defensive by saying a tier 2 person will essentially give you the same information he/she has already given you; don't fall it. Just say that's ok, please let me speak to a tier 2 personal. Tier 2 personal will actually be able to give you a little more info that tier 1; just a little bit.

I actually just talked to a tier 2 this morning, and I got new information on my application that I didn't have before. He essentially said it's in process but in the adjudication phase which he said is the last phase in their process. What does that tell me? At least it tells me they have passed the FBI background phase and are now about to make final approval decision on my case.

Now, for you specifically the status they gave you is pretty upsetting; how can they say your case isn't active yet since you filed since March 2018. I think that should be actually a more compelling reason to ask to be transferred to a tier 2 to find out why your case isn't active for 6 months. I'll advice next time you call insist to speak to a tier 2. All the best with your case.

February filer from Nebraska still waiting

Hang in there. USCIS can be strange sometimes; I'm actually seeing many April Nebraska approvals than March filers. But not hearing anything as a February filer is rather sad. Just be optimistic and hope for the best. Have you by chance tried to talk to tier 2 customer service personal?

You want to add alot of pic. I have well over 50 in my packet. I also did 3-4 screenshots per month of WhatsApp conversations. And don't forget call logs. And screenshots of video chats

Hi, just confused about the whatsapp screenshots. Is it necessary to show my spouse's phone number on the screenshots or is the nicknames like 'hubby', sweetheart, dear, etc other personal nicknames we save ok. I hope u got what I m trying to ask..

My Pd is March 22 and i havent received a approval notice, still waiting. I called in today and spoke to a tier agent they told me it looks like their working on a RFE notice but it still just says received online and when i call as well. Should i expect the RFE or maybe ill just receive approval notice soon?

I didn't cover up his phone number. I wouldn't say that it's necessary, but the person looking at your packet may see it as you having something to hide if you black out his phone number. So I wouldn't recommend it. Just my thoughts on it though.
