Congratulations!  It's 3:53am here and I can't go back to sleep after seeing USCIS app states our case is approved too!

Congrats! "Expedited" means you have an electronic case. Certain countries/embassies have decided to move over to electronic as opposed to paper cases, it makes the process of sending your petition to the embassy and being received as "ready" a bit faster. Your future steps aren't affected by this

 

And it's the DS 160  when you track the case on CEAC, though, I believe it makes you choose "immigrant" as opposed to "non-immigrant". In every other scenario, k-1 is referred to as non-immigrant

And thats really absolutely ok.  I felt disheartened SO many times along the way. The week before we received our approval was the lowest week of my entire relationship with my FH.  We barely talked, I cried EVERY hour of every day for about 4 days, I was so miserable that I didn't want to get up and only my kids needing me kept me going.  It is emotionally exhausting and because you love you fiancé SO much, being kept apart physically hurts.  But then once I thought I was about as low as I could be I started to pull myself together.  I actually came off VJ because I was starting to be jealous of people after me being approved and then hating myself for feeling that way because they deserved to be happy too. So I  tried to focus on other things and then BOOM!  when I was actually least expecting it our approval came after 215 days.  Yours is probably longer than that already and I am so very sorry that they have messed you around so badly.  But you CAN do this I promise.  Every day is one step closer to you being together and not even the USCIS can stop that.  So I'm sending  a big hug to you.  I can't make you feel better but I can share that there is an end to this at some point and that you deserve a very happily ever after xxx

day 210 here, nothing yet, NOA1 on august 31 but USCIS processing times currently says august 31! so i'm hopeful!

Had a strange text message drom uscis this morning 1:30am my time. 10:30 pm csc time.

I have never got a text before...

And it only said...

"Your case WAC1790442**** is now updated. Check "My Case Status" at www.uscis.gov. *Msg and Data Rates May Apply."

 

But nothing changed @ website.
