Hi everybody!

 

I am an August filer, my case had been received on August 28th. I want to give you all a little feedback on my experience with the Visa K1. My NOA2 (approved case) was received on March 2nd. Around April 10th, I got a notification that my case was transferred to the American Embassy in Paris in France. 1 week after that, I was able to schedule my medical exam and my interview.

 

I just had my interview this Wednesday 16th of May and our visa got approved! I will be joining my fiancé back in our house in New-York in a week when my passport and visa arrive in the mail.

 

I would be more than happy to help anyone the best way I can with questions about the interview or anything else regarding the steps. Wednesday was officially the best day of my life!! 

 

I am sending lots of courage and best thoughts to all the august filers who are still in the middle of the process or awaiting their interview!

Congratulations to you! This is so incredible! :) We received our NOA2 Approval April 16th, 2018 and NVC emailed a few days ago that our case is in transit to the Frankfurt Embassy. My question is: what can I do to start preparing myself? Perhaps for the Packet 3? I have already requested to get my criminal record because that takes a couple weeks to receive. I have also gathered some evidence of our relationship (photos, etc). But is there anything else I should be doing? Like schedule my medical? Or do i have to wait to receive mail instructions from Frankfurt Embassy?

Did you see the instructions PDF of Frankfurt Embassy? You can find it online too.

Question. Did u send the beneficiary a copy of the entire packet u sent to immigration with the initial application? Or just the updated pics, affidavit, bank statements etc?

I am beneficiary and I sent confirmation barcode to immigrate and I want to know how many day they will give me appointment date. Otherwise my petition will complete affidavit when he come enjoy interviews with me. @MCLthank

Hi!!! I was cooking with my mom, then I came to the living room to check my cellphone in case my fiance said something... it was writen "YOUR CASE WAS APPROVED". I started shaking and jumping with my mom haha, thats a good feeling.. Thank you all for the support during this period, and I am looking forward to seeing everybody's approval!

Well everyone we had our interview today.  We are approved.  She will fly here hopefully June 2nd.  Best birthday present ever.  Can't wait to have all my girls here with me.
