We hit 236 today, and 1 week since they received the response to our RFE... waiting is my favorite hobby now...

Frustrating isn't it? When we filed in March, I was hoping to be there for X-Mas... now I will be happy if I make it before X-Mas 2019 😣

God.  I hope it doesn't take that long. I miss him. 😔 Just curious, does your fiance have a common last name?

Haha. Cuz my man has the most common last name in the world and I was thinking maybe it's taking so long cuz of the background checks. 😂 Trying rationalize I guess, even though it's useless. 😂  January is a lifetime ago! I haven't seen mine since May. Hopefully I see him before a year hits..

At least 235 days for us,  26 since they received our RFE reply (a passport photo that they lost), 8 days since a tier 2 filed a case inquiry (reply said up to 45 days more).  I'm glad we are not the only one in this boat, but it is brutally unfair watching so many people from May get accepted and so many RFE's handled within 7-10 days as was expected. You aren't alone!

Common last names are some of the longest cases to go through the USCIS process. Until the unravel who is who your case kind of sits and collects dust until such time as they know who, what and where.

We got a similar timeline, so let's see who will be first hehe, ours was received 31st oct/1st nov depending on which Website you take. Yesterday I saw an approval with rfe receive date 1st November... but not trying to put in too much hope.
