It was fast and good, although the lady said I will have to come again for my ead fingerprints :/ she didnt let me fully explain that I already spoko with immigration and they told me the office might use those, she was 100% sure I am coming again, so I should expect another biometrics letter appointment, great!

Turns out my RFE is an RFIE which resets my clock, ugh.

I'm also annoyed because I had submitted what they're asking!

It's saying I didn't submit sufficient evidence, and that I've submitted secondary evidence and/or a birth affidavit as proof of my birth record.

The copy of my birth certificate I sent in a certified copy of an entry, which came from the general register office (logo in bottom right corner). It has my parents full names on it, my date and place of birth, signature of registrar etc.

So what exactly do they want me to submit? I'm confused.

Totally normal! Don't worry - people seem to get notified 2 or 3 weeks after USCIS has received the application. I sent my application on March 23rd (received on March 25th) and my credit card got charged yesterday. I still haven't received a text/ email yet.

You should see some activity soon.

You know, I have an inkling ours may be the same. My wifes most recent tax return WAS 2016 at time of filing, so we sent that, but I thought they may ask for the 2017 one eventually. Are you just sending in a copy of the 2017 tax forms that got sent in to the IRS? Seeing as no tax transcript available for 2017 just yet!

Hi, may I ask if they asked for the 2017 tax transcripts on your RFE too?

Nope, only the birth certificate, which confused me as I have sent in what I'd already sent in previously!

An RFE for the tax returns/transcript for 2017 would have made more sense. I expect I'm probably going to get one for that soon too :(

Hey Guys, !

Question for you!

I sent my AOS on March 30th and I have been tracking it.

Since Monday the USPS tracking says

“April 1st 2018, available for pick up. Your item has arrived at the Chicago, IL 60680 post office and is ready for pick up”

Can anyone shed any light on this? :) (Its pretty self explanatory I guess! I’m just paranoid) I’ve also seen people on this thread mentioning people signing their packages etc. What does that mean? I’m just making sure everything is going smooth thus far!

Thanks guys!

Did you send I-864 too? About a week or two.
