CASE APPROVED!

Congratulations!

Another VSC case worked within the typical 12 month timeframe.  No indication of processing change, but it’s still great for you!!

Signature coming soon...

My case was received by 'local office on February 26th 2018 and unfortunate a little later I did receive a RFE letter.

They receiced my RFE April 9th and so far no progress since than.

Wonder long this wait will be. IN the case tracker app I see I am not the only one that was confronted with a RFE and some even received a RFAE.

My paper I-551 is valid until end of December so I'll be patient.

CASE APPROVED!

April, 2017 - filed to remove conditions , did my biometrics around same period (Vermont)

February, 2018 - my case was transferred to my local office (Atlanta)

April 9, 2018 - Local office received my case

April 17, 2018 - Case approved (Case status check)

April 20, 2018 - got a mail confirming my approval and card is being produced. Allow 60 days for arrival of card.

So in short, I say its not necessarily a glitch nor is it an automatic request for interview.

Good Luck everyone!!!

thanks for sharing! more hope for me! :)  almost same timeline

I don't know if its just me but last week I tried to book an appointment with infopass but it was just showing me appointments for that day, couldn't change day or week. We wanted to go this week and on Monday I saw appointments for Monday and  on Tuesday for Tuesday. I just checked now and the closest appointment is the 10th of May.

My extension letter will expire 09th of May.

Should I panic ? Will there be any problems if I get there next morning on the 10th.

I can't book any other appointment.

My status says case transferred to local office on 8th of April.

I filled January 2017.

If you look online between midnight-4am the infopass appointments seem to have more availability. Possibly due to a system refresh.

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

I checked by entering several previous case #s than mine and it shows their case been approved, some still show they at their local office and some that are RFE.
