TO be honest your POE will really be determined by how fast your embassy is moving once you get your NOA2 like how busy they are and how long it is taking to get an interview at your particular interview...  My fiance and I are believing in a Sept POE

The have not started processing December yet. They are only about 35% done with November and probably won't start December for 2 more weeks.

 

FOr January Filers, I'd estimate they will start second week of July, and I think you will be looking at September / October POE dates.

That's my realistic estimation too even though I'm more leaning towards September POE. My birthday is on September 12. I don't know if we can celebrate it together in the US. We can't celebrate my fiance birthday next Tuesday on May 29 but we spent two weeks in Bali early this May. LDR and immigration suck

off topic -- but do you have any good suggestions for things to do in Bali? I am traveling there this weekend to meet up with my fiance for vacation

It’s encouraging people are still thinking sept/oct for POE. 

 

Sydney embassy seems to have good reviews, I haven’t seen anything to suggest they take long processing interviews etc so fingers crossed it’s smooth once we get our NOA2.

My theory is USCIS is fully running the revamped system for November and perhaps December cases considering their number of application is lower than October. Once it's up and running, they should be back to speed up the pace. Just my theory. Whatever it is, our time will come. Hang in there!

 Agreed- My fiance called up about medical exams and they said once he gets his NVC number they can schedule that pretty quickly! and I feel relieved for him that all of the reviews are positive and their interview process goes quickly and smoothly!

I like that theory too! I believe the scans are not accurate at this point however I believe they will be rocking and rolling again soon.....

I did some more analysis based on what little data we have available (there's a post in the November thread), and I think they are definitely trending in that direction. I think we're probably seeing about a 50% "silent" rate now, when in the past it was 30%. I attribute this to increased usage of the new system, and I suspect the scans will become less and less helpful, and Visa Journey's self reporting data will be the best we have at that point.

 

Going to see if they start on December sometime next week or the following and I think it would help confirm if more are getting completed than we have access to know about.
