I sent a three day delivery packet via usps packet from Boston to Manila and it cost me $63 with about six pages of documents inside so for me that was money well spent on making sure that they had wet signatures updated intend to marry letter and original copies of my W-2s as well as the original wet signature of the financial form. you can also email the embassy and ask or read that particular embassy reviews to get actual real experience reports.  in Manila it seems majority times they don’t even ask for the financial forms but I’ve read review or two that actually mentioned that they did ask for so again it’s really subjective and the role of them better to have it and be prepared as my advice good luck and I hope you find your answers.

That’s awesome just in time to avoid Holy Week closure 👍🏻 Hppy to hear that and I will have let my fiancé know she will get a kick out of that. She is a bit nervous for the interview but we have been role playing to ensure her confidence

HELP - So Fiance submitter her DS160 Application today with DOS electronically. When I check it using the number it says "no status" I would assume the Consulate will receive the other paperwork? I would like to get a head start on as much as we can but am not certain if this is the tracking of the application etc? Should the embassy already have the other paperwork and we could call them? Does anyone know the path of paperwork here? Would rather not waste three weeks waiting for them to mail us instructions. Please Advise!

Check the CEAC site at: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=WwjqOlbeRYzCYubaSQI+RA==

 

As a K1, when checking your case online at CEAC you have to select "immigrant visa" as it is treated like as such even though it is a "non-immigrant visa". Don't ask why, as no one has been able to articulate why!

In CEAC

When I use non immigrant I get “no status” when I use immigrant it says invalid case number.

 

Any Ideas?

Like I said K-1 is treated as an immigrant till your visa is issued then it changes to non-immigrant. You maybe a little early. Try again tomorrow. Verify your entries to be sure they are correct.

For sure she will do great. Consuls are just trying to see if the relationship is genuine. Just be honest and you'll be fine. Just had my Interview last Thursday together with my kids and it went well. The consul that interviewed us is so friendly. And now we are just waiting for our Visa. 😊
