The field office told me yesterday that my case was in the background check phase so does that mean it’s still virgin? Not sure

Yep for us it is about case received status.

hope they'll flow soon.

I just don't want anyone waiting for noa2 yet to feel lost in the NVC convo. So I wanted to keep track on who's left.

Yes! Seems like we’re the last few left?

I'm going to give it a try on my next break....look like you got NoA2 date as me so will keep you update if I hear anything from NVC.

Thanks a lot for the info.

Whar?! I thought it took like 2 weeks?

Guys the key point is "up to" here.

it takes in most cases 2weeks to a month.

but uscis says their aim is to reply within 60 days. It may even take longer (doesn't usually take longer especially in k1 cases)

How many still left waiting for NOA2? Anyone feel like the last ones left waiting for the rescue boat to arrive? I hope the last of us hear something soon...who would’ve ever guessed we’d be waiting this long! I try to stay positive but let’s face it, the longer this drags on the tougher it is! I’m going to keep reminding myself there’s a light at the end of this long tunnel and it will all be worth it!

Still waiting...

I just got off the phone with NVC I did the #1 and #7 after they got my case number, I was told that mine was sent electronic and I have to call again #1 and #5 instead.

I was told by the lady that my case has been received today and I should keep in touch with them this week for my invoice #.

And your NOA2 was Jan 2?  That IS fast!

My NOA2 is Dec 19. Since others with my date or later have been seeing their cases received and even assigned a number, I've called the NVC twice so far this week. Once on Monday, once today. I was told (kindly) both times, that it's a six-week wait. Nonteheless, I will call again on Friday just to see what they say.

Next week will be the six week mark for us, and at that point I'll be calling them every day. :)
