Age difference can be overcome, I'm 20 years older then my husband, I don't look it, but still I'm much older.

Sometimes I also think if the man is in his 30 at least and the woman is older, I think its looked upon differently, after all being in the thirties is not Young, young, understand?

A friend of mine, she is 18 years older then her husband from Tunisa, she is 47..... they were approved on the spot for a K1 visa.

You have good evidence of being together, time well spent.  I've know other couples from Egypt, Morocco, and other African countries who the woman was considerably older, but they all had a solid proof of a relationship.  Stay positive, keep collecting all future evidence for such as the interview.

Very best wishes on your journey.

Likely under different administration.

03/22/18 - NOA2

08/28/18 - expected date for medical completion - Sputum test was needed

Certainly there were a lot of refusals under the previous administration.

As the other poster said, stay honest and you should be fine.  However, do prepare well for the interview.

1 year living together with the kid being there should be more than enough to convince any CO that this is a real relationship.

If you have no other inadmissibility and she matches the financial requirements (or has cosponsor), I see no reason why this should be denied.

I think the year spent together in Morocco with you AND her son, will help. I have a couple of friends that have a larger age gap, like you and your wife, and were approved. Hopefully, the petition was sent with a lot of evidence. I would recommend to have her there for your interview. She won’t be allowed in, unless specifically requested, but she would be there if needed. Best of luck!

Of course, you and her will do fine at interview.   Remember keep all new evidence since you sent in the petition to USCIS, it shows a ongoing relationship.

You mean it's a good thing or is a bad thing ?

It's a good thing, cause it shows you guys spend time together. Your family knows here, you know her son etc.

Getting approved in Casa with big age difference is a matter of making sure you are able to show a real loving reationship / i know moroccans do not discuss love and the nature of marriage with a stranger but this CO who interviews you will want u to talk about loving her

we have the biggest age diffenece / took us 3 applicaitons and 6 years

1   be prepared by knowing everything about her (big and small ) her family,  where she lives (state)   where her son goes to school,  her weather,  everthing

2   be confident (watik) in yourself

4   dress for sucess /  dress in nice shirt and pants

5   make sure she meets 125% poverty guidelines for you and her and 1 son is $25,525 for 2017

6   be completely serious /  this is serious business to that embassy

7   make sure you are ready to pass the medical exam  / no drugs / TB is a problem in Morocco

8   stay out of legal problems

9   Co will ask if you intend to have more children as this is suppose to be important in Islam faith

10  know what your plans are for life in the US  /  will you go to school or work

incha allah

allah yekbel
