I have not filed the taxes for 2019 i still have time till April 15. Do the officer ask for 2019 taxes.

also i have one one traffic ticket for the red signal which is paid do i require the court disposition letter or something.

Thank you

Yes; I brought in a new page 7 (Part 9. Time Outside the United States) from the N400 application that listed the trips I had taken since sending in my application.  The agent interviewing me asked to keep it.

I was only asked if I owed any taxes.  I had transcripts for the past 5 years but was not asked for them or anything about 2019.

I had two speeding tickets from over 10 years ago.  I told the agent that I had the tickets and copies of proof of payment but he did not ask to see them.  If you have proof that you paid the ticket bring it with you just in case.

Good luck.

I had my travel dates handy on a piece of paper, but didn’t need it. USCIS officer had my travel history from CBP open on her computer and just asked me to confirm the information.

I took our tax filing for last 3 years along, but wasn’t asked for that paperwork. Just asked if we owed any taxes.

Better to be over-prepared than under-prepared.

I took along a printout of my recent travels and offered it - IO said he didn't need it.

I had transcripts of 5 years of tax returns - didn't need to show them. IO asked if I owed anything.

No tickets for me so I can't comment on that part. But take along whatever supporting documentation you have, just in case.

I am applying under the 5 year rule and I only have transcripts for 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. I requested by mail transcripts for 2013, 2014 and 2015 more than a month ago but did not receive them. I guess I did not fill out the form correctly, I selected account transcripts, form 1040 and the tax years I wanted. Can anybody help me?

I found this on the IRS site; not sure if this 1-800 number still works but it might be worth a try.

"Tax return and tax account transcripts are also limited to the current and prior three tax years when using Get Transcript by Mail. However, you may be able to get older tax account transcripts by calling our automated phone transcript service at 800-908-9946. Otherwise, you must submit Form 4506-T."

I mailed the form 4506-T but I think I didn't fill it out correctly . I will try to phone them and see what happens.

Thanks

I requested transcripts for 2014 (sent the form in and faxed it) and received nothing. I just took along a copy of the actual return. In the end the IO didn't ask to see any documents, just asked if I owed taxes - no, and that was the end of it.

FYI.  I applied for my passport right after the oath ceremony (at the post office directly across from the federal building in Newark.) I requested expedited service and have now received everything; passport, passport card and returned naturalization certificate.  My interview was on a Wednesday, passport arrived the following Friday, passport card the following Monday and returned naturalization certificate 3 days later.  So from start to finish about two weeks.  🙂

the wait seems like eternity. clearly there is no control we have on the process. But things are escalating with each passing day. I have been asked to WFH till further notice. It might be matter of time USCIS does something similar. ;(
