C'mon people.  You are only on days 195 and 200!  There are still people in the 230s and 240s waiting.  There are June filers on day 223 and waiting.  There are 120 of us on day 218 tomorrow.  Don't get so caught up with the process that it over stresses you.  This is not going to be quick or easy.  After NOA2 you can still have another 4 months waiting for the interview.  We all need to relax and hold onto our loved ones.  It will happen but only on the USCIS/NVC/Embassy timeline.  We have so little control we just need to sit back and try to enjoy the ride.

It would be less stressful for me probably if i can just visit her one more time before that. but I cant  I have  3 jobs if i buy ticket for february. I will take some money from my saving for the wedding. I just cant.

I hear you on that.  I'm talking to Rose right now.  If I visit in February I won't be able to come back for the interview and trip to their new home.  They still want me to come but I really want to escort them home.  This is truly a very difficult decision.

 

Then what happens if they cant come until June or July.  February to July will be way too long without them...  Time to win the lottery.

Just catching up in this thread and can't believe you guys still don't have a NOA2 @John & Rose   I hope very much it comes for all of you still waiting soon! We just waited almost 8 weeks for NVC receipt btw. "This is not going to be quick or easy." I wish you weren't so right...

I hear ya ....  a 3rd visit is not in the cards ... gotta ensure financial stability for everybody.  194 days ... in processing window but I guess the word on the street is another 4 months after that.

Time is the most precious commodity on earth.  It is the most valuable thing that we can truly have in life.  The fact that the US Government is taking away our time together is very sad.  That being said, I will wait an eternity for one moment where I can call her my wife and hold her.  The government will not destroy my resolve.  Every second is just becoming more valuable as the days go by...

For some reason NVC is holding files for up to 8 weeks before they send it to NVC...crazy...

Spoke to USCIS T2 and NVC again.

 

 I know I’m convincing but I feel like I keep getting the wrong person on the phone. I just need to get the proper person and they’ll mail my case to NVC.

As today we didn’t have any movement yet, I hope it was their day to send out the hundred letters through the mail. It costs $0 to dream, right?

Man, I know you're frustrated being skipped over and all...but crashing every thread on VJ saying things like "You are ONLY on days 1, 40, 130, 195 and 200!..." (as if we all should feel and process this dreadful long wait the same way)... only comes off as belittling other people's feelings

 

The thing is... every case being unique, most of the anxiety that many of us here feel is not so much just because of this dreadful long wait, but rather also not knowing whether our cases will be approved or denied and have to take another route and start this whole process all over again...

 

I don't think there is anyone here on VJ who doesn't know by now that you are still waiting for your NOA2...and believe me, everyone here is hoping and praying for you and Rose...even those of us who are not believers, we are praying that your case and other July 6 filers get assigned to an adjudicator

 

I know there are some April even March filers who are still waiting for their NOA2s...

but heyyyy...Welcome to Planet Earth where life ain't fair...

 

All of us want to be with our SOs and it's only natural for some people to take this harder than others and there is nothing we can say to make them feel better

 

VJ is a safe place for all of us to come rant and vent...and that makes us feel a little better
