Hello i need help. NVC sent my checklist im a usa citizen trying to bring my wife to the united states . im confused about what to send to them . i need help

Send them evidence that you live in the USA.

Why did they ask for proof of domicile? Did you write a Non US address on your affidavit of support, for your mailing or physical address?

Taxes are good, and proof of employment in the USA.  Also owning a home or renting.

Is your mailing address or other address outside of the US?

 

The instructions for the I-864, pages 4 and 5, gives some great examples of evidence.  Did you read the instructions?

Proof of domicile is either assets showing current domicile in the US, such as a house or vehicle title, apartment lease, U.S. bank account statements showing activity, mailing address in the US, company letter showing employment in the US, etc. Or intent to reestablish domicile, so formal resignation letters, enrollment of kids in schools, signing of new apartment leases, job offers, etc. You need one or the other, except in special cases that are listed in their instructions. 

 

As with anything in this process, the more evidence you can provide the better your chances.

OH.  Send them your drivers license, vehicle registration, vehicle insurance, utility bills, lease agreement, bank statements, W2's, paystubs with your name and address, property tax receipts - the list is almost endless and any combination of these should establish that you live in the US.

Wait, did they specifically ask for proof of domicile, or is this just a general checklist where you just send what's applicable?
