Before next week starts and most likely for us to see some October approvals, I wanted to add;

Remember! The first 2 weeks is when they will focus strongly on the month before!

All those from September hopefully is to see some good clear up!

 

For October; @Daniel P will be doing scans daily, however as he is still with his fiance till Tuesday (this is like the one thing we all hush  ), if there's any movement I'll be updating you as well  

I did one on October last week and saw some number of withdrawals, which usually happens 1 or 2 weeks before the month starts! So Good luck!!

 

We finally said a nice goodbye to our long waiting May filers this week by them getting their noa2s,

Hope next week we can have the same for Junies as well!!!

Hello everyone, happy to join this community  and thanks for such informative posts. However I have a question and will be very thankful to have an answer. I'd like to know from where is it possible to get such an information and is it really possible that a november filler is approved? USCIS support specialist says they are still doing august cases and the same information is published in their website. But I have read all of your comments and I am a bit confused now

I believe a few random filers from November have been approved, but not sure anyone from this community.  They are currently working mostly on September files, they actually just started some October today.  However, they are also still working on August, July and June.  The wait here could be long or short.  It's all the luck of the draw in most cases.

How can they currently be working on September filers and also August, July and June? Especially since the last update says it was working on September cases how is it that now it's saying August? My heart is racing because I thought we were supposed to be moving forward not backwards. I'm so confused and worried

Because there are enough adjudicators (100's probably) that they start the next month while they are finishing up with the last few applications of the last few months? Don't forget that months are slowed by them waiting on US to return info to THEM for RFE's... 

The update on the website on which month it's working on is not instantaneous either? It doesn't get updated for months at a time. That has been stated HERE as well as the website's policy on what their updates mean. 

@hassan247, May I suggest you get notifications set for this thread so that anytime anyone posts info here you will get alerted? You won't miss out on current material or answers to questions that are answered prior.

I understand that but people like us like to have some kind of clarity as to where they are at and how soon to expect our cases to get done

Lol (sorry hunny but I can't help but laugh)

We ALL want clarity but this business of immigration provides none. No one will be able to provide exact days, dates, which numbers of applications they are working on. The members that help on here to TRY to decipher what info USCIS provides the public with on their website/app, are merely extrapolating STATISTICAL data and make PREDICTIONS with it. 

I'm very sorry but you will find no clarity here, nor anywhere. What you will find here is mutual support in a group of ppl that have a comparable situation. We have all had to forget our expectations and can only lean on watching the predictions of when our cases will be done.

Different people work at different speeds.  Some petitions need deeper background checks.  There is no rhyme or reason to it and trying to understand will only give you a headache.  The average wait is 180-200 days, but last week the last two May 2017 filers got their NOA2, they were waiting over 300 days.  They will never finish one month before moving onto the next.  That's just not how it works.  Best thing to do is just keep busy, get everything ready for the interview and try to not stress.  It will happen when it happens.

Thank you so much, that's great, however I'd like to know how you have received that info (that they have started reviewing october cases), it's really interesting to me as I don't see anything like that in websites and apps.

You would be able to find it by setting up your own spreadsheet and extrapolating all of the 1000's of application numbers per month that are available on the app as you can search for the statuses of up to 500 applications at a time. It's time consuming and rather redundant as there are already members doing that here who provide us with the info.
