Because he continuously said he was going to repeal DACA throughout his champaign.

Because it was an unconstitutional action by Obama.....

Question:  If Congress ultimately gives Dreamers legal status, will you admit that President Trump did something good?  Yes or No, please.

OP if you're still in here--to your questions about how DACA will effect ROC processing times... DACA recipients have until Oct 5th to renew their permits if those are expiring from now until March 5th. That's six months worth of potentially expiring permits. It sounded like a good chunk of people have permits expiring within that time, many will be rushing to file within this month. This will probably cause some delays, as delays usually happen when a lot of people are filing for a benefit. There seems to be much more speculation than fact, when it comes to how USCIS prioritizes cases.

Hopefully your case is a speedy one and you're approved quickly!

That you are wrong sir. The people that support Trump like myself come from all walks of life. When we voted for him it was because we were tired of a President running roughshod over the constitution.

We are Anti-Illegal Immigration.

Only Congress can introduce and/or pass a law to fix the Dreamer issue.  President Trump is acting within his authority, unlike Obama.  This is how a real leader leads. Take off your blinders and give the man credit when he does something right.

So the president can take an active role in the repeal of ACA but not when it comes to the preventing the deportation of a dreamer?

I said "champion" , meaning he could write or suggest possible bills to be brought to Congress. A leader wouldnt just repeal a protection for his people without a plan.

FYI: Nigeria has not had a dictatorship since 1999. A quick google search + wikipedia would get you up to speed.

I never said it did. I said that America is NOT a dictatorship.

ACA was passed by congress therefore it could not be repealed by executive order otherwise Trump would have used an executive order to repeal it

According to your first post as long as the congress does not do what the president wants he can issue an executive order. That  was my point in what I said but nice job of avoiding what I said.

Trump went on an executive order signing spree in his first couple of months in office.

Most of his executive orders were to undo the overreaching executive orders by the previous administration. He has not tried to bypass congress with executive orders. A quick Google search would tell you that.

I honestly don't care about the DACA matter. But I feel bad for the people who are affected by it, but there is nothing I can do about it. The blame game is pointless at this point. Some people blame Trump, some blame Obama and some blame the parents. It's just pointless. At this point only the DACA recipients will pay the price.

One thing we agree on is that LEGAL immigrants should always get the priority in USCIS processing. I hope this whole DACA thing will not slow the process even more.

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

He has suggested a immigration bill to be brought to Congress, it is called the Raise Act. Congress did not want to touch it and let the status quo go on, so that forced his hand and he signed the order to nullify the EO granting DACA.

You might want to go back to school and retake a civics lesson because I learned all of this in like 9th grade.

This is standard for some of the Left Wing Media like Telemundo who flat out said that Legal Immigrants are trouble too and may be deported as well. My neighbor actually came over and asked if my wife is ready to go home to the Philippines because "Trump is going to send all Immigrants back". My wife flat out said "No, all he is worried about are Illegals not Legal Immigrants".
