Hey guys, we received our extension letter today. Are you unable to check the status of your case with the receipt number on the extension letter? The uscis website keeps bumping back an error saying the receipt number is incorrect or not in their system.

Just an update. My wife's ROC was approved 1-17-2019 and her 10-yr GC should arrive in the mail tomorrow, according to USCIS website. We received the approval letter in the mail a couple days ago.

How should we put our full names?

I know!!!! I filled mi I-765 with acrobat too and I notice the same but I still send it that way because we have to sign it anyways. Maybe someone have an advice for you. I really didn't care and send it, so lets see if I will get an RFE for it. I know if you don't sign in the end of the application they send the entire thing so if this happens to me I'll keep you posted, sorry I can't really help you but I just send it like that. with the initials and last name.

I am getting the similar error "My Case Status does not recognize the receipt number entered. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283."

 

After doing some searching online it seems it takes them about 45 days to update the case status.

Gosh 2 years flew by and the dreadful process begins again .. I am preparing to send the application this weekend. A few questions:

1) I-751 form part 1 point 9 USCIS Online Account Number (if any) --> Is this one necessary, where to find it ?

2) Is it necessary to put 'NA' in blank fields ?

3) Can some of you post your cover letters please ?

4) How many photos have you guys sent for evidence ? like 50 -70 ?

5) One check for $680 or two separate checks $595 and $85 ?

I know!!!! I filled mi I-765 with acrobat too and I notice the same but I still send it that way because we have to sign it anyways. Maybe someone have an advice for you. I really didn't care and send it, so lets see if I will get an RFE for it. I just sent my package on Saturday 16h. Spent all Friday putting it together but I was thinking for a couple of weeks how I was going to do it.

1) I couldn t remeber having an online account number so I left it blank

2) I did not put N/A anywhere (I didn t do it for AOS either)

3) I am attaching an edited copy of my cover letter, pretty sure you will find some others at VJ

--Residential Lease Agreement for MY PREVIOUS ADDRESS, for 2015 and 2016

--Standard Apartment Lease for OUR CURRENT ADDRESS for 2017

--Copies of Charter bills from 2016-2017

--Health Insurance Letters with MY USC HUSBAND as head of household and in favor of ME from 2015 to 2017

--School related correspondence for our daughter MY DAUGHTER addressed to us both

--2 affidavits from family and friends

--Miscellaneous correspondence/cards showing our previous and current address

--Pictures spanning our wedding date in February 2014 through August 2017

--Greeting cards from family and friends spanning 2014 through 2017

--Some of the e-mail sent and received during the past 3 years

4)  I sent around 50 pictures, I pasted two on a word sheet and printed at home in color. I noted each one about events and dates, spanning time since marriage

5) I did send one personal check for the total amount, in my case 595 plus twice 85 dlls (for me and my daughter) 765.00 dlls
