Hi Roni07,

Based on my research, for Affidavit Letter of Support, your friend's signature will be efficient. Here is the template that I've used also it's attached. In I-751 instruction, they didn't mention that must be notarized by a notary public so I got only my friend's signature. Also same website mentioned:

Even if they listed it in the instruction it's good to have it but not strong, objective evidence that a bona fide marriage exists.

Hope it helps.

Regards,

Emre

Hi,

So I got the returned package from uscis yesterday with a rejection letter of incorrect filing fee. (I was 10$ short :) )..

I've bought the correct money order and sent in the package back to them ... fingers crossed, hopefully I get my extensions letter soonest

@mymercy please tell me that you filed it with a check for $680.00 and not just $595.00??

My GC exp on DEC 24 and I will be traveling overseas mid December and also into the new year.  I'm going to ask USCIS if the extension letter would suffice, to be absolutely sure.

No ... but I bought two money orders ($85 and $595) totalling $680 ... I hope that's fine?

Hello Everyone,

I will be sending out my I-751 by the end of this month as my conditional PR card expires in  end of December 2017. I have few questions if anyone can answer. I am so worried feels like nightmare starts again.

I do have car and health insurance having our names and address together.

1) we moved 3 different places so do I need any extra evidence because I just have rental agreements for those three places and pictures together. Utility/electricity Bills of our current place since march 2017 has our names together but previous two places all the bills were in my husbands name. I do have car insurance policies in our names with old addresses.

2) I and my husband don't have a joint bank account together, but he had me added to his credit cards. will that suffice?  If I get added to his bank account now is a good idea?

3) I do have Ar11 and i865 address change paperwork for all three places do I need to attach those as a proof as well?

4) Regarding income tax returns, we have  joint returns for the year 2016 but for 2015 my husband had filed a single as I was not working then.  do I need to send both the years returns ?

5)Additionally I have affidavit from friends. Is it ok from a family member?

 Any inputs appreciated!

Take 3 big breaths!!!  I know what you mean about it feels like the nightmare starts again!

I think you have enough evidence with regards to your addresses,  I would include as evidence the address change paper work.

Joint credit cards is good.  My husband and I don't have joint account either.  Getting added to your husbands bank account to make it joint is a very good idea.

As long as you have joint income tax return for 2016 that should be good.  I would think that the 2015 returns would show each other's names on it as our does even though we filed married by single filed.

Affidavits from friends is good.  I asked my friends for a photo copy of their license to attach to the affidavit.   I don't think USCIS will accept affidavits from family.

I didn't realize there was a G-1145 form to fill out and send with this packet.  Where is that mentione?.  I did fill one out for my previous forms.  Will they send me electronic notification still, or do you have to send a G-1145 with the I-751.

I have read the special instructions for G-1145 on the USCIS website. They do not mention CSC and VSC.
