Has anyone's case who get transferred received an email stating their case had 'initial review'? And you may have to reappear again with an appointment for biometrics?

I am an October 2017 filer and I received a similar email. I am not sure why we may have to appear for biometrics again...just have to wait to see what happens next. I highly doubt another biometrics appointment though...I just have to remain positive.

My case was transferred to Texas last November.  I received the same email as you.

Initial review. on Dec 15th, saturday, early in the morning. But only an email. nothing like a case status update or anything.

I'm EAC347.

Has anyone else received the same email?

We did, but seems more like a glitch. We also applied for an N400, so not sure how that jives with it.

Has anyone been approved with N400 pending?

Not mine. It was transferred to the local office as I just received the message yesterday.

@mymercy Hello,  did your case get updated? Mine got the "transfered to a new office" message. On its way to Houston!!! Glad to see things moving a bit. Sad not to see its getting approved, but my goal is to shorten the N-400 time, so a delay on this 10-yr GC doesnt hurt.

That's my goal too and I did apply for the N400 considering the fact that Texas State has the longest processing time for N400.

btw, I didn't get any notice yet for transfer ... my number starts WAC17346 ... what's yours if you don't mind?
