There is a feature that you can follow him and when anything he posts or changes his status you will get and update. Select your flag in your profile on the left column and then once on the next page explore for the feature as it is there I just don't know right now exactly where.

Amnazaid,

In our situation, my fiance's status changed to APPLICATION READY on Oct 29.  The US Embassy in Cairo asked for his passport on Oct 30 but we were in Malaysia at this time so we sent his passport on Nov 4.  Until now, no visa yet and his status still says APPLICATION READY.   It is almost 1 month and no end in sight :-((((

IsA yours will be different. When did your status change to APPLICATION READY?

Hi guys,

My fiance and I applied for a K1 visa, and I went to the CO for an interview a month ago while he put me on "administrative processing", asking for my resume (i guess im under TAL, since I work in a technical field).

2 days ago it changed to "READY", with this statement under-

"Your case is open and ready for your interview, fingerprints, and required documents. If you have already had your interview, please check your status after two business days. If no interview was required, please check back in two business days for the status of your application."

2 more things happened-

1. "Case Created" was changed to the same date as 2 days ago (it originally opened on January 2017)

2. It changed from "IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION" to "NONIMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION"

Today (48h after ==2 business days) it changed to "Application Received", without a change to "Case Last Updated"  (remained 2 days ago).

What does "Application Received" means? there's nothing on google about it.

Thank you all in advance!

Regards,

Dave

We are in the same boat. It changed to "Application Received" from "Ready". We submitted additional documents as they just wanted my trip itinerary to visit my fiance and also additional photos. But, I submitted almost like 35 documents including my W2, my 1040 tax and receipts and so many other things including my financial details. Now, what? we do sit and wait?

I am in the same boat! Here's our timeline:

The I-129 Petition was received by USCIS on September 28, 2016 .

It was approved on January 25, 2017 (and valid until 5/24/2017).

According to the CEAC website, on February 8, 2017, an "Immigrant Visa Case" was created.

It was received by NVC on February 16, 2017

On March 23, my  Fiance had her K-1 interview at the Consulate in Guangzhou, China and was told her application was approved. Two days later she was asked to submit her original divorce certificate.

On March 24, a "Non-Immigrant Visa Case" was created. (Note: a second application/case number was created)

On, March 31 my fiance gave the required documentation and CITIC comfirmed that they were received on April 3.

On April 12 the US Consulate in Guangzhou stated that they received the required additional documentation and would process visa immediately.

On May 11, the "Immigrant Visa Case" was updated an entered Administrative Processing

On May 16, the "Non Immigrant Visa Case" was updated to "Application Received"

It has now been over 50 days and still we have heard nothing and my fiance has not received her passport.

Am in the same boat, what happened next? Were you approved?
