@InsanelyOne @SONG41 you guys should be getting interview notice in few days. Please update us if when you get it.

Could very well be but I'm a little unsure how things are going to play out.  It looks like the N-400 is going to get processed before the I-751.

Anyone know what happens when you show up for your interview and your removal of conditions is still pending?

Hi everyone. Applied for N400 on september 15, 2019. Already done with biometrics. Both estimated time of completion and wait time is 7 months which is kinda confusing. Does anyone here know if it is possible to get interview notice before your estimated wait time at washington DC field office(Fairfax)? Hope to get the interview before the 7 months.

How does one determine where their oath ceremony takes place (Alexandria v DC Courthouse)?

I did not request a name change and had my application approved 09/25/2019. I live in DC proper as well.

Alexandria court house only does judicial ceremonies (the ones with the name change)

I believe that if you live in DC proper, you will have your ceremony in DC and in court (DC doesnt offer administrative ceremony from what I have read)

Hi all!

I just had my interview this morning in Fairfax office and everything went very smoothly! I was approved on the spot and the whole thing took 15-20 minutes.

I didnt have to wait more than 10 minutes after the scheduled time to be called in.

The officer was very friendly and pleasant. Nothing out of the ordinary in terms of the way the interview went.

English test:

-Write "The people elect Congress"

-Read "Who elects Congress?"

Civic test :

1- What did the declaration of emancipation do?

2- Who is in charge of the executive branch?

3- If the President can no longer serve, who becomes in charge?

4- Name one state that borders Canada

5- Date the Constitution was written

6-What major event happened on September 11, 2001, in the United States?

I got the standard answer when asking about the Ceremony...will get an invitation by mail within 4-6 weeks but maybe sooner. The officer said they dont handle that part so she doesn't know timing for sure.

I live in VA and didn't request a name change. Will update here when I get the Oath date.

Let me know if you have questions and I will be happy to help if I can!

estimated wait time is for scheduling interview, but not the date of interview. Interview will be 1 month after that. case completion time includes oath ceremony timeline.

DC is slowing down again :(. Both @InsanelyOne and @SONG41  should have received interview notice, if current trends would have continued.  We just have to see how much  delayed it is. It used to be 130 days, then 175 days and now apparently more than 185 days.

Just got a status update from the egov website, saying my ceremony notice was mailed!!! This is 8 days after my interview, YAY!

No date yet, and my online account is not yet reflecting any of this...Still showing "You have attended your interview", and no document uploaded either...hopefully they will update soon. Will keep you guys informed!
