I can't wait until they start getting into July. 101 day wait  already seems like forever, especially when you know you have a potential of another 70 - 90 days. I'll take the wait if it's a smooth process from here on out, though.

You know. I called all the way in August... they said that they are prosessing March 1st... called September they said March 1st. I told them that they were March 1st last month.. the lady replied saying that that’s what the computer says.... so a month later October I called and they said..... March 1st.... I wanted to blow my head off..... so instead I bought my tickets to Russia 😂😂😂

 

all that aside.. all those that are flying to Russia from the states, do not use a travel agent to book your flight. I bought my ticket round trip for $868 from Turkish airways. Once you put your days in, it shows you a calandra that offer cheaper flights.. so I went from $1,570 to $868... a good amount saved. And if you and your better half don’t care much about “fancy” hotel, use the app “Airbnb” it’s got good deals on places to stay at.

Someone on the thread just offered up some great tips that it's better to prepare now for the interview then later. To that end, do you have your passport with enough time left that it won't be expired after arriving in the states.  It becomes more difficult to get things renewed or changed while in the states.  There are many other things that you may need, I will give you the link to the Embassy Instruction Letter. Use it as a checklist for gathering everything you will need to complete your interview at USEM.
