Regarding medical prior to the interview....

The Philippines agency assisting us says that the hospital in Manila where the medical is performed (St Lukes) won't schedule an appointment without the letter or email from NVC, which we haven't received yet. All I have is the "Ready" notification on the NVC status tracker. I keep hearing here that they'll only need the case #/MNL # (which I have..), but the agency says otherwise.

Who's right?

Thanks.

My understanding from others and from what I have seen is you don't 'Schedule' the medical.  You do the Registration and then show up on the date that you want to do it.  Monica is going on Monday to do her medical.

We scheduled her interview about 4 weeks ago, so I don't have a recent schedule.  Just go to the website, log in, and have a look. Pretty easy to do.

Finally done.

So..Days 154 And climbing. Drank a 12 pack of the good ole October Fest Beer over the weekend..with the NFL being stupid, there went my relaxing and trying not to think about the total day count.. So..last week I called and the Tier 2 guy said that they would put in a request to see what my case was up to.. This was on Wednesday. On Friday I looked, it said it was complete.. So I called today to find out what the status was..and NOT to my surprise, they said that my case was still in the allowed processing time and that we should know our case answer with in ( get this..) 45 DAYS!!!  It took all my bitting of my toungue not to tell at the person.. So..as I said at the begining, 154 Days and counting.. It's just seems to amaze me how cases All around me ( case number look up) are being processed, but ours..NOTHING.. BUT hey, other than that...my Steelers lost to the Bears....thank you God for October Fest Beer... :-)

At day 161 here!  When I get a notification from the uscis app i get ecxited only to see it is a travel warning! 🤔pray every day all April filers and past ones get approvals! It would be nice if they could tell you exactly how many days it will be to get an approval or not.  Life is kinda on hold.  We are trying to get a visitors visa now but heard it's not easy from Morocco.

It isn't easy, 162 for us with the RFE having happened. I think Nepal is easier in that regard but very expensive and long flight so we are waiting until everything is approved.

I decided to try to call the NVC again today,  and of course our case was not in the system yet. But I was shocked the representative said to call back in 6 or 7 more weeks and they should be able to move forward. Is this just the standard answer? It was definitely different than yesterday, but maybe its just been a long day and he's getting annoyed with so many inquiries. He seemed to have no idea if I had an approval or not since there was no information in their system, it surprises me their system isn't integrated to the rest of the USCIS.

6 weeks is the standard response, but they don't have an issue with you calling every day.
