just demand Tier 2 that's what i did...but in reality, how does one really know that you're talking with a tier 2 person?  lol

If you want to be slippery ask them if the Background Check and Name Check have been completed. Tier 1 can't answer that question so they will bump you to tier 2 right away. Then you can ask Tier 2 that and if they see any RFE notice.

 

After 1 for English 1,2,2,2 will get you a Tier 1 agent right quick.

Make yourself one of the "congressional" cases. 

Write a letter to your senator.  When the USCIS recieves an inquiry I hear they put your case in the 48 hour pile.  Expedited.  

You and I are 2 days apart in the NOA 1, you were before me.

I finally got upset and wrote to my senator and although I didn't get a written response back, I got a notification about 5 days later.  Coincidence?  Cause and effect? We shall never know.  I only know that I got a response, even if it was an RFE.

Hi guys,

 

Day 137 since date received (27th of April). My fiance spoke today with Tier2 and they explained cases are opened once received with them. In our case it is PENDING, no sign of RFE so the lady said "No news is a good news" :huh: and that "It is a waiting game" and that they are slower since they have received all the transferred cases. My fiance is going to call them again on Thursday.

 

Congratulations to all that NOA2 subject is already in the past :D

RFE - CSC sent October 2nd (case tracker shows 27th September)  RFE - received October 5th  RFE - sent back to CSC  October 6th  RFE- CSC received -October 7th (case tracker shows October 13th) 

NOA2 date - October 18th 2017(case tracker shows October 19th), NOA2 Hard copy -October 24th;  NVC #assigned - November 15th NVC left November 21st

Congrats. What was the notice date on your hard copy compared to the date you were approved on the uscis website? Was it the same date?
