Just called NVC a few minutes ago to see if they had any info to give me. I was hoping they could at least confirm my emailed documents had been received. The guy said he doesn't have access to the email team server but that once they touch the case, he will then be able to tell me if they received them. Makes sense, because the emails aren't scanned in, but I wonder how the process works for them to register documents were received.

 

Still, I thought it would have been touched by now, but maybe they don't open the email until they are about to complete the case. It would make sense that CC would come quickly after the email is opened. The guy said to call Monday or Tuesday and if there is no record of receipt by then, to send the email again, since it has been two weeks.

 

I know everything was sent in correctly and am not worried about not having received a confirmation email, since other people with CC who used email have said they never received a confirmation email. Just thought it was strange he couldn't at least confirm with someone that they had my email.

 

He also said that emailed documents take just as long as mailed documents to process once received, 11 weeks, which is totally untrue, as many others have been able to confirm. I feel like he just said as a standard answer to get me off the line. Wish I could get some concrete answers from these people.

Finally 3 N/As !!!!! I'm so excited right now. I have never been an active participant on VJ but I have got valuable informations from other VJrs throughout this painful process and I like to thank you all. For those waiting for their case to be completed ,I wish you a speedy CC.

For those of you who are given a checklist due to NVCs problem my advice is to never stop calling until you get that super nice Supervisor.

I'm glad you guys heard back from NVC, my case was approved the 16th of March and I called NVC today and they said that they still did not receive my case.  I called USCIS yesterday and they said that it was mailed out the same day it was approved which was the 16th of March, so I'm worried as to why they did not receive it yet.

Lets look at the positive we are in the final stage.  My scan date is 3/27 too

Scan date of 31st January... I'm now at 8 weeks and 4 days (plus time difference so i guess half a day less).  Hoping they don't take the full 11 weeks as them doing so will mean I can't move back to the USA with my husband when he goes and will have to fly with my luggage and baby myself. Really hoping to start this new adventure together!
