POE Review: Los Angeles
Event Description
Entry Date : 2017-05-15
Embassy Review : My POE experience was a little different. I'd gotten gastro or food poisoning on the plane, and was so weak when I got into LAX I had to be wheel chaired everywhere. I was also travelling with my almost 10 month old who's already a US Citizen. We were pushed ahead in the line and in a wheelchair.

When we got to the window the immigration officer asked for our passports and paperwork. I handed them over. I mentioned I'm a first time immigrant and that my husband already arrived a week ago. He went about looking through paperwork, asked me to do my right hand fingerprints. Then about 5 mins of typing stuff into his system and looking through my paperwork.
Eventually I heard the sound of his admission stamp, he handed back our passports and said "ok all done"

No "welcome to america" or anything dramatic at all lol
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
