Our CC was confirmed today by calling the NVC.

There is no interview scheduled as of yet.  Does anyone have an idea on how long after CC an interview takes to get scheduled?  We are hoping for a May interview.

Thanks :)

We are also hoping for a May interview, it definitely varies, i saw from other post, some got their interview between 2-3 days, while somegot it after a week or two, some may took longer,

Congratulations on your CC :dancing:

Called up NVC yesterday and today and they're giving me the same answer, no appointment of interview yet and they said it depends on the embassy abroad of the next availability. Hoping we all get a good news this coming week.

Today, I got my passport back in the mail with my immigrant visa stamp on it. It has been two days since my interview at the embassy.

FYI:   Review your visa stamp well for any errors in spelling or info. Also, on your visa you will most probably notice that your "IMMIGRANT VISA IV CASE NUMBER" will have an extra "01" or "02" at the end. For example, my NVC case number is TKY2016XXXXXX01 instead of the usual TKY2016XXXXXX. Do not panic as this is normal. Just some insider code they have or something and not a typo error. :)

Congratulations on everyone's case approvals and interview appointments, and good luck to those whose interviews are up next! <3

i called NVC when they opened and when they are about to close this is what they told me

"unfortunately, you have no schedule yet, we will email you once we have schedule for you"

"sorry, but there is no date of interview for you yet, dont worry we will give schedule this week up to next week, schedules depends on the embassy of your area,as they will give us as to how many can they cater in a day,and how many are still pending for them to interview, but it's up to how many cases completed ahead of yours are on queue, we give interview based on the date got completed"

so think it varies on one's embassy area. and i hope @Royo to try calling NVC again, hoping they got a wrong info.

wish you all the best

Here is the review of my interview appointment, I thought I should paste it here for you to read it! Maybe it will be useful for some Italian people!

April 5th 2017 - Interview:

My interview was at 9.30am but I showed up at 8.10ish am. I went through security just like at the airport and left everything that is electronic. I left my bag there and took with me my binder and folders. They gave me a number and a pass that they attached on my shirt. You need to go to the 2nd floor. If you're Italian, that room looks like a Poste Italiane room haha. A guy sitting at a table will call your number. He will ask for your original civil documents plus copies: DS-260 receipt, 2 photographs, original birth certificate and a copy, original marriage certificate and a copy, original police certificates and copies. He will collect them together and give them to you. Now you will need to sit and wait; a consulate officer will call your number at a desk (glass desk just like poste italiane again). The lady was Italian. She will ask for the documents that I mentioned and give back to you all the copies (all the copies submitted to NVC too) plus the medical examination results that you will need to bring with you in the U.S. . She will take your fingerprints as well. She wrote down my husband's current job and told me to sit and wait for the last and "official" interview. Finally the other consulate officer called my number. I went there, she spoke English but if you want she can speak Italian. I continued speaking in English though. She will make you swear you're telling the the truth and she will take your fingerprints (again) but just 4 fingers of the right hand. She then started asking me questions: Where is your husband? How and when did you meet? When did your husband leave for the U.S.? (He was stationed in Italy for a while-U.S. Army) So she asked me how is that he stayed for so long in Italy so I explained he was in the U.S. Army. When did you go to the U.S and for how long? When is the last time you saw each other? Why did you wait so long to get a Visa? (We gave priority to the University and U.S. Army) Have you met his parents? Has he met yours? What do you plan on doing there? Where would you want to work? I answered all the questions and she said "you're all done and good to go; you will receive your visa in the next days" 😁
I got out of the consulate at 9.30am (the time I was supposed to have the appointment!)

I've never been asked to show the following documents/stuff at the interview:

-NVC interview letter
-Vaccination records
-Affidavit of support
-Tax return transcripts and W2's
-Husband's passport copy
-IV fee and AOS fee payment receipt
-DHL courier payment receipt
-Evidence of relationship
