A Massachusetts sheriff who has called for the arrest of public officials who support sanctuary cities Wednesday slammed a state lawmaker who posted a Facebook warning about a rumored federal raid.

It does. She did nothing illegal. For the time being, the constitution stands, and we better make sure it stays that way, at any cost.

Every once in a while I visit Alipac message boards for a laugh.  I don't post ever or even have an account.  I just like to see how the other side thinks.  They are calling it treasonous

AliPac is mostly alt right lunatic rant wrapped xenophobia, disguised as something legit. They'll call it treasonous and make waves, but nothing serious will come out of it.

 

We're still entitled to certain levels of protected speech, as are they to publish their rubbish.

Indeed.  They are calling for Trump to get rid of DACAby April 17th or else they drop their support.  Quite something for an organization that recently had to post that they're closing their doors due to lack of funding.

I am guessing that if you are a lawmaker and gain inside knowledge of pending law enforcement action and alert the criminals. the 1st amend aint gonna help you much

That is a completely different story, that requires either criminals or disregard for presumption of innocence.  Neither was the case in Mass.
