Not being a November filer I don't have any standing but I don't find anyone's griping about still waiting to bring me down. Nobody has flamed anyone who received theirs.  Fortunately when someone is complaining I'm usually in a good mood and when I am bummed out someone gets their approval and I feel better.   With all that said I am by no means a patient person. But I've been deployed multiple times and that taught me a lot about being patient. We can't control the situation. We can only control our reaction to it. Soon folks. Soon we will all have them. 

I look forward to the day I can type to you all I got mine. If my thumbs arent shaking too bad to write. ?

lol My fiancé is familiar with deployment and his tolerance for waiting far exceeds mine.  Quite amazing to see how those experiences have afforded some the gift of patience.

@Kevin&Kanyanat I noticed the December filer thread has not been very active, so I just posted under Move Visa Mountain MOVE! (December Filers)  I too have been encouraged reading these posts.  Congrats to all those approved this week!  My Valentine fell asleep on me last night and there's a 7 hour difference in time for us...so that gets old real fast   We are blessed to have video chat, but ready for it to be over.

I just got back from a trip to the corner store.  There was an elderly gentleman behind the counter who I had never seen before.  He doesn't know me and I didn't say a word about the visa, but as he was ringing up my purchases, he looked over at me and said, "I'm going to tell you something my grandmother always used to say.  Live the mystery.  Don't try to solve all the problems."  Sometimes, strangers find just the right words.

Hey everyone, I'm glad none of you went away and disappeared, I panicked for a minute lol

 

FYI, NVC Received my packet today from USCIS. My NOA2 was approved Feb 2, and 14 days later NVC received today. They have not processed my case#, so the waiting continues!

Thank you for doing this work eons earlier than you need to be (given that you are a mid-December filer). You could easily have run the cases the first couple days, realized you had a while to wait, and not done it nighly for people. Folks look forward to your updates so much and they are so much appreciated.

I'd consider myself a "earlier" Dec filer, actually. I sent my I-129F on Dec. 1 and it arrived 2 business days later.

 

Moving forward...I'm debating stripping out all the "approved" cases from my list soon. That way I can add in the last few hundred Dec. filers. I was keeping them in there for historical purposes and sometimes (very rarely), they are revoked or withdrawn after approval. Thoughts?
