The embassy gave me a copy of it when I went to the interview. Your fiance should ask for it if she's not given one. I've heard of people even asking for a copy from the doctor during their visit but I didn't even think about it. Luckily they gave me the copy at the embassy.

Oh okay, I didn’t know that the embassy is the one that gives it to you.  I’ve been researching the aos process and know we need it for that so I told my fiancé to ask since I didn’t know about the embassy part.  Thanks for the info!

Try to find medical records that prove that otherwise decide if you want to test for it or take the shots. If you decide to take the shots compare prices of the different clinic and whatever your local doctor's office offer.

I don't know if that is the standard though as I have heard of people not getting it at the embassy. But your fiance didn't receive it at the doctors office they should definitively get one or ask for one at the embassy.

Yeah I’m definitely planning to have her get it regardless.  She emailed the doctors office about it we are just waiting for their response.

If I decide to take the shots, do I need two shots then with 4 weeks apart? Or is one enough?

I have no idea. You should contact your doctor for that. I don't know how the body is affected when it is being vaccinated against something they might already have antibodies against.

I believe you would either need to have verifiable medical records confirming you had those diseases, and when, OR they could do a blood panel to test your blood. My now-husband had to do something similar once he arrived to the states - he had to get one vaccine stateside, and got the rest during his medical in Gothenburg. To avoid having to redo ALL required vaccines with the US civil surgeon, they just did a blood panel to prove he'd already been vaccinated for those, which worked fine.

Hello everyone, I have a question regarding the K1 medical exam. I read the medical is around $400, my fiance went today and got charged $400 for the medical and $300 for the vaccines, MMR and Influenza.  Is this price consistent with other here regarding vaccination and the medical?

TIA

You get the shots where it's the cheapest (for me it was my local vårdcentral) before the medical, the medical clinic is too expensive.

In Göteborg I paid 2800kr ($300) for medical and x-rays, in 2016.

You don't get one at the embassy, you get it at the medical. From the doctor. If one asks for it, the doctor in Gbg even mails you a copy of the full medical report the same day he sends the original to the embassy, not just the DS-3025.

This isn't the case with the one in stockholm,  my fiance asked for a copy of the medical and she was only given the international vaccination certificate.  Willing on the respond from the doctors office for the DS-3025.

Unfortunately this was poor planning on our part I suppose and we didn't expect the vaccines to be double/triple the cost of outside.

The DS-3025 is the only thing you actually need, and they have to give you a copy. You ask for one at the time of the medical. It's the same at both clinics.
