Administrative processing is heart-breaking :( been in the AP since Dec-13.

I've never been so upset in my whole life.

I'm very sorry to hear.  Were you asked to submit something else after your interview?

How long does NVC take to make a decision on expedite? Anyone know ?

Usually 1 - 2 weeks, but they will deny it. No chance unless it's extreme condition

I'm surprised how some people are able to find out when NVC is s scheduling or not. I've mostly spoken to robots who won't get past, " We will let you know once an interview date becomes available." Some of them are so rude that I try not to call anymore. Last time I called was 20 days ago.

How did you guys get them to tell you if they're scheduling or not?

I straight out ask them.  This is a service that we have paid for.  We have every right to ask what we want to know.

I'm so tired of waiting for our interview date!  Grrrrrr.  I understand that they only do appointments at certain times of the month, but goodness...haven't we waited long enough.  I know we already missed the February dates and will get a March date when they start scheduling again next week, but it would be a lifeline to just have that date and know so that we can plan.

Very happy to be joining this thread - our case just completed today after ten weeks and two days at the NVC. I'm going to read through the thread here so maybe this has already been answered, but does anyone else have experience with an expedite at the consulate? Juarez approved our medical expedite request over a month ago so I think that we will schedule our interview ourselves, but I'm not sure. I'm just wondering how long it will take to receive that e-mail since it's supposedly coming through the consulate and not through NVC. I'm nervous that this approval may actually backfire due to the timing of our papers completing at NVC since interviews are normally scheduled soon anyway. If you have any thoughts, let me know!

Also, hi @chel0524:D

Yeah. "My resume" and "my transcripts" were mentioned on the white 221g slip. I don't know how this concerns my relationship with my wife. I submitted those docs on the very next day.
