Yeah, the real shipping did not take too much time according to the tracking tool. It was the customs: about four days on each side. Hopefully it was just unlucky last time...

I think maybe so. I sent two packages via FedEx last time I was on that side of the Pacific, both took about the same amount of time to reach the US address. Hope you have better luck next time.

Hey everyone....just wanted to add my name to this hat of November 2016 I-129F filers!

Is everyone wishing they filed a few months before the holidays and new years?! :P

I'm assuming that's the reason for the process has taken longer than what other's have experienced in the past.  But, not much anyone can do than have patience.

Good luck to everyone and look forward to reading about your journey as well!

I wish I had filed in October, but at the time I was overseas visiting my fiance.

It seems that a long wait is inevitable... I am just worried about having a RFE after a long wait: at that stage, does USCIS accept electronic version of any evidence they need in email or something?

Mailing is taking soooo long. Even International Courier took almost 15 days when I submitted the I129F (the main time consumer being the customs of my country and the US's).

RFE correspondence is all done by postal mail. RFE's usually request pages that were not complete or signed or additional documents.

Hopefully you won't get an RFE but at this point RFE has the advantage of knowing your case is being actively worked.

Shooting for Manila Feb here also....just need to get some business finished. Unfortunately, it keeps getting pushed back, and early Feb isn't looking like its in the cards for me. I'll probably be close to airport too, maybe Makati or maybe Paranaque. Sure would be nice to have the NOA2 before then. That way I don't have to worry about an RFE while away.

How long will you be there? Last time I took a monthly condo rental in Paranaque. It was great, walking distance from an SM mall and all amenities close. I spent a couple of days in Makati also at an AirBNB, plus a week in Palawan, a week in NE Mindanao, then back to Manila for a few weeks. I'd like to stay for a month at least next trip if not longer. But work work work travel complicates things for me right now.

It might be small comfort but, looking at the NOA1s from January, 2016 (the farthest back that Igor's List shows), it is about 60 days to NOA2, so we aren't a whole lot behind that.  I would be curious about the November, 2015 NOA1's -- does anyone know how to contact someone at VisaJourney.com to request a peek at that?

Hi KimchiLumpia,

Welcome to the I-129f November 2016 filers Forum!

Where we all get to sit and wait patiently for our case to be worked on.  :content:

Yeah, I think we all thought we would file sooner and for some reason didn't.  I know at least my application is stronger because I waited but it doesn't keep me from kicking myself that I didn't do it 2 weeks earlier!

Oh well, I got it in when I did and that's all I can be thankful for.

Good luck to you in your visa journey!

Hope for speedy approval for all.  :)

Its good to have a place to see other K1 Visa filers that applied around the same time.  Hopefully, in the next few days, we'll all start to receive our NOA2's.

Coming in on EVA. I like it as they mostly use Boeing rather than some of the older Air Bus also the flight from Taipei to Manila is about 2 hours where form Korea to Manila can be over 4.

Downside on EVA is they can have longer lay overs.

Anyway Feb is a cheap month to fly. Will arrive by 13th and return 24th so short trip.

Not sure where we will end up. Planned Manila to do all the CFO, Medical, interview but that's not happening.
